This hotel is located right off the expressway (I-75)- very convenient for travelers stopping on business who need to get right back on the road in the morning. It is not close to the lake. It was a very good value at 54.99 per night, but don't expect anything fancy. It was designated a "pride" Super 8 which I was told meant that they met a higher standard to get that designation. It was very clean and well lit. The breakfast "buffet" consisted only of English muffins, doughnut holes and oatmeal packets, but again let me say that this hotel was very reasonably priced. The breakfast area/tables were clean, but the eating area is not huge. Staff at the front desk was very nice, helpful, and efficient! The "lobby" is more of a gift shop. A guest asked about pool hours and he was told they could swim as late as they like as long as they weren't loud, etc. I didn't check out the pool or hot tub as I got in very late and had to check out very early... more
