I was in town for family matters. The owner/manager shared with my family who visited, what we did, ate and drank. This "gossip" made my life harder and was not professional behavior by the owner. If you don't mind being spied on by the owner/staff, then OK, the sheets are clean.

Had a great stay in the Tulip Suite. Sarah the housekeeper was very helpful. The suite was beautiful and it felt like we were right at home. The jacuzzi tub was fabulous! There was coffee ready when we woke up in the morning and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch to drink it. Proximity to downtown was a plus.... More

Staying at this B and B was like staying with your Christian aunt and uncle. They have a lovely, old-fashioned home with lots of antiques and beautiful glass. The room was cozy and charming, spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just okay. It was the kind of down home country breakfast you would have at your... More

This beautifully kept and wonderfully decorated bed and breakfast is spotless. Pat and Bob are sweet as pie. They run a charming, B&B with wonderful breakfasts, plenty of room to roam about the house, and great conversation. Pat is a wonderful cook, and inspiring personality. Definitely recommend

We booked for 2 nights during Memorial day. It was a perfect stay with great (authentic) Dutch breakfast and cozy rooms. Beautiful cottage located less than a mile from downtown Holland yet it feels far from the din and bustle!! Perfect!!

I came in to Holland to attend a music educators workshop at Hope College, and to have dinner with my daughter who attends Hope. The location was just a few minutes from campus and the property was just lovely! I stayed in the Cozy Corner room, which was lovingly decorated with lace and flowers. There was a small sitting area... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Dutch Colonial Inn Bed and Breakfast originated as a family residence. The initial structure, built in 1928, served as a wedding gift for the bride and groom. We offer beautiful guest rooms and elegant suites with king or queen size sleeping accommodations. All rooms have private baths with tiled shower, most with a double jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The inn's wonderful atmosphere is perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, birthday celebration or just a getaway. Spacious common areas include a delightful wicker-clad sun porch and a living room on the formal side, yet cozy enough to unwind in. Warm weather permitting, the white wooden rockers on the open front porch invite you to relax and rock as the world walks by. Our delicious full breakfast pampers you, yet provides a healthy and hearty homemade feast. Awaken to fresh brewed coffee, the fragrance of homemade muffins, coffeecakes and ham/sausage egg casseroles. Close to beautiful downtown Holland and just a short drive from one of the most beautiful beaches in Michigan. ... more   less
