Dirty rooms, staff who appear to be lost. Breakfast included dry eggs stuck to the pan, cereal dispenser that worked once banged against the wall. Dirty dried wash cloth hanging over shower rod. TV that took FOUR trips by staff to fix. WAY over priced for quality received.

stayed at this Hotel while moving daughter into college. Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Overall pleasant experience for the money and would stay there again. The room had everything we needed and was a decent location in relationship to campus.

Upon arriving at the hotel after a long drive with tired small children I was immediately told that I would want to upgrade my priceline room for $40 or $80 and that my room was handicapped and may not even be available so I asked to see the room. Then I was told I'd have to wait in the lobby... More

We were switched from our original 1st. Floor room because it had been used since it had been cleaned (food container, used towels, etc.) We were then put in a 3rd floor room. This room was fine except the dead bolt lock was missing. In the morning we went down for our included breakfast and they had run out of... More

We were there to visit Saugatuck last minute and had to book a hotel close enough. We found this one and they had a room available which was the JR Whirlpool suite. However, it was extremely over priced for the rate we paid which totaled $279. Also we got a room that did not have an inside lock for the... More

See also my review of the Fairfield Inn next door. We had reservations at the Fairfield Inn next door but they had overbooked so they sent us to another hotel where we declined to stay so fortunately the Best Western had a cancellation so they put us there. (They paid for it) We were delighted. We got a spa suite... More

There wasn't anyone at the front desk when we tried to check in. We rang the bell and after another wait someone finally showed up. The room had dirt in the grout of the bathroom and the shower curtain looked like it was 20 years old and had never been cleaned. There was also a piece of wood just nailed... More

Check in was fast & easy. Our room was clean & faced the back so it was fairly quiet except for the people above us walking around @ all hours. I did spot a bug in the bathroom in the early a.m. but just scooped it up with a kleenex & disposed it. Our bathroom had a previous leak in... More

I have not stayed in a Best Western Hotel in years. I remember them as shabby, etc. When I walked in the lobby, the cutesy decor was a pleasant surprise. After that, the experience was not so pleasant. We had a handicapped accessible shower because my husband requires a handheld unit. The holder for the shower handle was broken, so... More
