There are only a couple of hotels in town and my husband chose this place because of the price, which was probably the best thing about it. The people who ran it were nice and provided extra towels when we needed them. However, I've never stayed in a motel where they did not make the beds for a stay over.... More

When I stay at a hotel/motel I expect it to be "nice" this place is shabby. The people who work here are nice, they supply extra towels if you need them. They keep it clean. This was the only place I could find available over 4th of July weekend. I thought it might be because they have a minimal online presence. But it might be because it's a dump. We picked this place late at night on our way back to Detroit. It's probably from the late '40s/early '50s, a long formstone building with green shutters.
