It's definitely a hideaway (far off the beaten path), yet. In most ways that's about all this B&B has going for it. The decor is 1970s kitsch on steroids. And the breakfast appeared so non-descript that it wasn't worth our while. We are not B&B snobs, but this place does not come close to matching its secluded-location-amidst-a-vineyard potential. Fortunately, it's... More

My husband and I stayed at Highland Hideaway bed and breakfast for two nights. The house is beautifully decorated and our room was beautiful and clean. I have a food allergy and Bev was very accommodating to my needs. There is a winery with a new tasting room. Wines are very good. It is a few miles out of town... More

I stayed here instead of the host hotel for a work conference. I had a wonderful stay, so much included in my stay - for such a low price!! Plus bring attached to a winery is another plus! I will most definitely return.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. We found the staff very professional and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We cant wait until the new wine tasting bar is open so we can book our next trip. Sincerely, Eric and Holly Stanwood, MI

We enjoyed Jerry's hospitality and unique nature! We stayed three nights. The breakfasts each morning were very creative and tasty. We stayed in their separate building vs. the main house. The furnishings could use some updating - since the couch was pretty uncomfortable. Everything was very clean. Another nice feature were the snacks and wine in the early evening. The... More

The location and price of the B&B are great. Lots to do and see in the area. The rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is tasty and well prepared. Jerry and his staff is very attentive, and the interior of the B&B is wonderful to look at and explore. However, we think the owner needs to rethink the continuous top... More

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at Highland Hideaway. The property is beautiful...vineyards and woodlands. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared and varied. We enjoyed the free wine tasting with Jerry! We definitely plan to return!

Stayed 4 nights recently and will call this a keeper! It's just 5-7 miles out of Harbor Springs and a little farther to Petosky. Very quiet B and B surrounded by a vineyard. Free wine tasting and lots of info regarding wine by Jerry. He loves what he is doing! The previous reviews are right on. The first place we... More

This secluded B&B was exactly what we needed. There were not a lot of reviews or pictures to go by when we randomly selected this out of several B&Bs in the area, but we were very glad this is the one we chose! The location is tucked away in a peacefully wooded area with plenty of places to sit and... More

We stayed at this B & B this past weekend and found it to be wonderful. The earlier review on food is somewhat true, though for the price, location, and view there really is nothing to complain about. When other places in the area were charging upwards of $160 to stay in a crappy motel room, my wife and I... More
