stayed for 3 nights and skied for 4 with the family over the holiday break. The kids 10 and 14 had just as much fun as mom and dad. The slopes are well maintained, the lift operator and super friendly, the staff in the hotel and shops are friendly and knowledgeable, and the breakfast buffet at the main lodge is... More

This hotel has old world charm with modern guest services from the moment we got out of the car till our date of departure we were greeted, serviced and they exceeded expectations simply by paying attention to detail for us. Names are remembered for me when you step in and anticipate the service you need or when a question is... More

I have stayed at Boyne Highlands for different reasons but always in the fall. It is such a treat when the colors are peak and I can ride the chair lift or zipline down the mountain. This fall I stayed with several friends at Heather Highlands Inn. The loft was large and the beds extremely comfortable.

This part of the resort, the Heather Highlands Inn is a bit dated. The rooms are large and do have a small refrigerator and coffee area. We used the convention center and I also felt that was looking a bit dated and could use some TLC. The food at the restaurant and pub was good.

After having a horrible experience at another hotel, we were able to book at Boyne Highlands at the last minute. We were SO glad we did! While a bit pricey, the accommodations were lovely! We will be going back for sure! Lots to do even if it's not winter! Loved the shops, ski lift, etc! Awesome place to stay!

We hosted a business meeting at Boyne Highlands, along with a reception. Everything went great - from the food to the guest rooms. Crystal was a great help with planning the meeting and reception. Stephanie was awesome as our catering contact. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.

We booked a jr. suite in the main lodge for a last minute, long weekend get-away. Accommodations were very comfortable however the décor could use some updating. The décor is based on the Scottish Highlands however some of the furniture and treatments are starting to look a little worn. A little "fluffing" up and brightening would be good. Although, the... Boyne Highlands Resort is a very nice place for anyone who wants to get away from it all. The whispering pines provide a wonderful respite while you sit on your balcony watching the clouds blow by. Close to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey, there are many dining choices and great shopping. A really nice resort area "up north" in Michigan.

We stayed at the Highlands in early August. Obviously no skiing, but unfortunately did not golf, either. However, the accommodations and other summer activities were more than serviceable, especially for families with kids of all ages. The rooms in the main lodge are small and dated, but if you are coming here to stay then it shouldn't matter, as the... More

I stayed back in June with friends for a wedding. It was a very nice setting, excellent staff, good food, awesome views! My only complaint would be that the complex is a bit out dated for the price. From the dining room, lounge, and rooms, it isn't worth the price. I will say though, the room was clean, and the... More
