This resort has amazing beginner terrain. The best I have seen. This was important for turning my daughter on to skiing. We could ski together as a family. The terrain was very family friendly. The staff is amazingly courteous, from the parking lot attendant to the lift attendant to the ski shop. The most friendly staff I have ever encountered.... More

My boyfriend and I booked a stay at the Highlands Resort over the holidays. We normally ski in Colorado during the winter, so our expectations were fairly low. So what a pleasant surprise we found at Boyne Highlands. The skiing was great and there were so many runs...we never got bored. And we loved the resort...great accommodations and the main... More

We stayed at Condo in the Harbor Springs so I can't comment on the resort hotel. However, we were hungry after a day of skiing we on Christmas but didn't think twice about most restaurants being closed dinner. After calling around even to Chinese and Thai places and finding those closed too we knew that we knew are choices were... More

We ski/stay at Boyne Highlands at least 2-3 times a year (usually staying in the Main Lodge), so know what to expect. This time we thought we would upgrade to the Heather Highlands Inn and get a larger room for our family of 5. We booked an Inverness Loft. It is the top floor of the condo complex and has... More

Overall we had a nice trip the week before Xmas with the kids (6 and 8) and the wife (who doesn't ski). We stayed in the Main Lodge. Below are some comments: -The Standard room is a normal size but a bit dated, though nothing that would cause me to not book another room in the future. It does come... More

As stated in my title I am just going to review the resort itself as I have already reviewed the mountain and skiing separately. My husband and I booked 2 nights in the Bartley House for our anniversary get away. We were upgraded to a fabulous room in the Main Lodge. Upon entering the lobby it feels so warm and... More

stayed for 3 nights and skied for 4 with the family over the holiday break. The kids 10 and 14 had just as much fun as mom and dad. The slopes are well maintained, the lift operator and super friendly, the staff in the hotel and shops are friendly and knowledgeable, and the breakfast buffet at the main lodge is... More

This hotel has old world charm with modern guest services from the moment we got out of the car till our date of departure we were greeted, serviced and they exceeded expectations simply by paying attention to detail for us. Names are remembered for me when you step in and anticipate the service you need or when a question is... More

I have stayed at Boyne Highlands for different reasons but always in the fall. It is such a treat when the colors are peak and I can ride the chair lift or zipline down the mountain. This fall I stayed with several friends at Heather Highlands Inn. The loft was large and the beds extremely comfortable.

This part of the resort, the Heather Highlands Inn is a bit dated. The rooms are large and do have a small refrigerator and coffee area. We used the convention center and I also felt that was looking a bit dated and could use some TLC. The food at the restaurant and pub was good.
