This beautiful resort is a great place for a ski getaway with plenty of slopes for all skiing levels. In addition, they offer lots of other winter fun like tubing, cross county skiing, and even horseback riding. With a wide variety of accommodations from hotel rooms to large rental homes, you can find a place for any size group. The... More

We went on a long weekend ski trip to Boyne Highlands and stayed in the Heather Highlands at Townhouse #19. A great place to stay with lots of room for relaxing after skiing, great beds and the three living levels makes it easy to have different activities going on at the same time. The kitchen has everything you need and... More

We stayed at Heather Highlands Townhouse 19 and loved all of the space. 2 large family rooms with fireplaces, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. Beautifully decorated (Pottery Barn style), plenty of TV's. Laundry room and 2 patios. Great for 8 golfers or 2 families. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and lots of soft towels. Long driveway for plenty of onsite parking... More

Have been going to Boyne Highlands for over 30 years. It gets better every time. Great staff, great conditions, 5 grandkids ski as well as our children and husbands. Most weekends we have 11 of us on the slopes and love it. Didn't stay at the hotel, just ski.

Just stayed in the main lodge in a European Suite adjacent to a room with two queen beds. The rooms were great although there is little to no counter space in the bathroom. We put a towel on the back of the toilet for a counter. The rooms were nice, albeit a little dated, but clean and well appointed. Both... More

I recently went up to Boyne Highlands (from Chicago) to go skiing for a couple of days with my friend who lives in the UP. My intention was to stay with my friend in her cabin, but the cabin's drains were frozen. So, at about 8 p.m. we called the hotel to check availability and, they were able to accommodate.... More

Have been skiing and staying here for a ski week in January for 15 years with our family. In last 2 years have moved from a suite of rooms in the main lodge to a one bedroom "deluxe"condo in the Heather Highlands building. It's nice to have the mini kitchen, fireplace, and quieter outdoor pool with the swim-thru screen, but... More

We stayed in a rental house near both Boyne Highlands and Nub's Nob and due to the magic carpet, tubing, and several other kid-oriented activities at Boyne spent a few days enjoying the resort there instead of Nub's. The good - LOTS to do. We snow shoed, cross country skied (far less expensive than Nub's), tubed from the cross country... More

Boyne Highlands is an excellent property for families with kids of all ages! Terrific programs, helpful and delightful staff, so many activities beyond just skiing! We did a private lesson for our 5 year old who had never skied and after one hour, she was going up the wonder carpet and down the bunny hill several times! All around excellent... More

Great service and dining, and it was awesome for first time skiers like me, and even experts. Although it was not in the worlds greatest location, because not many people even live in Northern Michigan, so it was a long drive for people like me, the beautiful mountain, friendly service, and great dining proved it was worth it, especially for...
