This hotel was just so-so. Rooms were clean, and pool was fine, but that's about it. Breakfast was waffles and cereal (no attendant), which was also fine. Hotel layout was very strange. No particular reason, but probably wouldn't stay here again.

I arrived very early in the day and the check-in process was wonderful and I was allowed into my room early. Unfortunately the stay went downhill from there. The TV remote stopped working so my daughter went down to the front desk, they sent her back to the room with a battery (unfortunately the battery cover was screwed on and... More

I do apologize about the bad experience that you had experienced during your recent stay at the Magnuson Copper Crown Motel. This is truly embarrassing and I deeply regret that you had to move rooms due to an issue that should have prevented before you even arrived. I can assure you that this is a learning experience for me and... More

Arrived late in day and was greeted by very friendly and helpful young lady at the desk. She recommended the Kaleva Café for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find we could go out back of hotel into the back of restaurant (very short walk). We returned and inquired if there was a place where our group could play cards... I have stayed at the Copper Crown several times and have been pleased on all occasions. I must say that this hotel is quite dated in its furnishings, but there is a certain Spartan-ness that's charming in its own way. You have everything you might need. Nothing more. There is an indoor pool that was small but adequate for this... More

I stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. I used the swimming pool and hot tub and also took advantage of the continental breakfast. The only negative experience I had was the 4 am wake-up call (that I did not order) on my first morning. Unfortunately the phone is not next to... More

I've stayed here twice when in town. Not sure if I left a review before. This place is one of the only animal friendly places around so we stay here with out two dogs. The hotel itself is clearly out of date however, everything you need is there. The rooms were cleaned nicely and everything was maintained as best it... More

We stayed there for 5 nights to relax and watch the World Cup. The swimming pool and the sauna provided a welcome variety. We did not take advantage of the breakfast as it did not offer any vegan options (typical case). The room was clean, very spacious, had cable TV and internet worked well. The only negative items were that... More

Room was clean, comfortable, and right downtown close to several good restaurants. I need non-smoking rooms, and the room we had smelled fine. They have a nice pool and hot tub. Continental breakfast was good, and Kaleva Cafe is next door.

This hotel can be difficult to find in the snow and the dark especially when some streets hadn't been properly cleared of snow. Take a left right after the Kaleva café sign and the hotel entrance js halfway down the block on the left. There is really nothing wrong with this place- we did not use the pool, hot tub or... More

Nothing special, but always happy to find when a reasonable hotel over achieve In terms of service. The rooms were fine and breakfast okay, but the staff was over the top accommodating! I love the slow pace of Hancock as well.
