Clean, comfortable, accomodating. A very nice and affordable northern Michigan stay. For hunting and fishing it's very central. Great if you snowmobile. Keith and Sandy are very pleasant hosts. They will point you in the right direction.

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay and, after being turned away from other places for no vacancy, we came across Fay's. It met our expectations and then some. Very warm service and the room was very clean and comfortable. We are staying again and plan on using Fay's for all our future stays in Grayling.

My husband was driving from the UP tired and the weather was less then good and getting worse. Based on the TA reviews I selected Fay's Motel for him. From my initial contact with Sandy by phone to my husband's check in and departure the warmth and friendliness and just the down to earth manner of the entire experience makes... More

First off, I have to say that this Motel is one of the best Motels that I have ever stayed at. My wife and I came up to visit a friend in the neighborhood and decided to make a vacation of it and booked a room at Fay's. Upon arriving, we found the motel to look interesting on the outside,... More

I found this place on the internet, and chose it because of the price (less than $60/night) and because it advertised cleanliness. We were stopping for the night only on our way to the Upper Peninsula, and Fay's sounded perfect for our purpose. This is an old school type motel, very cute and very "up north", and yes, extremely clean!... More

I agree with all of the other reviews, I will definitely stay here anytime I'm in the area! We stayed in room 18 and it was roomy and well maintained. Everything we needed. The lady at the front desk could not have been nicer.

We were looking for a place to sleep after looking around the Leelenau peninsula on the 4th of July. What we could find in the Traverse City area was way overpriced. Really friendly. Recommended a couple of places to eat. The room was clean. Good central location. Wish the checkout time was a little later as we had taken in... More

As others have noted, this is an old fashioned motor court where you can pull your car right up to your room door. My daughter had never stayed at this kind of motel and was a bit apprehensive, but delighted when we walked in the room. "Cool". Rustic and a bit worn but kept up with pride and very clean.... More

This is kind of a funny review and we did not stay at this hotel, but I wish we did. My huband and I were on our first snowmobile trip to Grayling and got lost on the trails @ night. The need to pee hit me in the middle of nowhere and I'm not the type that can drop my... More
