I spent the night of Feb 15, 2009 there. I had a one bedroom Executive Suite for $209. The suite was very clean, the hotel staff very courteous. The bed was as hard as a rock however. The couch in the living room was a good looking but cheap loveseat that I thought was nothing more than fabric covered cardboard.... more

Stayed overnite after the Billy Idol and Def Leppard concert at Van Andel Arena and it was fine. Wife asked to keep her purse in the safe deposit box at the front desk. Staff were prompt and friendly. Did not like having to pay $11 for parking. more

When I mentioned to the front desk staff there was a panhandler sitting on the park bench out front, he immediately stopped what he was doing and went out and chased the guy off the property.
