This is actually a nice hotel. Clean and in a nice location. Good amenities and all, but whoever is running that place needs to rethink their booking policies. I was in town for a Cardiology Convention. I booked my room 6 months in advance. I arrived in at 2pm and my room wasn't available until almost 5pm (my conference started... More

Stayed over night for a conference. Our room was in the older Paldin tower. Loved all the architectural details and the room was well furnished and quaint. The service was exceptional. The business centers printers were out of commission so they offered to print our documents at the desk, big help!! Our only qualm with the room was the walls... More

I had the pleasure i'm staying at this hotel for a business meeting in October 2014. The second you enter the lobby you could feel the history from this building. This hotel has recently undergone some renovations and you can tell. The rooms are comfortable very clean and somewhat spacious for an older hotel. Service however was hit or miss... More

I have nothing but good things to say about this lovely hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful from our first interaction, parking was easy in the hotel garage attached by a skywalk. (Self park cost $20 per 24 hour period, valet I believe was $30) Although that price includes unlimited coming and going with your vehicle, the hotel was... More

Nice hotel, friendly and extremely helpful front desk staff. Room was comfortable. I had an aweful night's sleep as I could hear everything the person next door was taliking about. Noises in hallways at 2:30am and the guest next door sounded like he was in my room talking at 4:30am! No hot water for a shower in the morning either!... More

My wife and I had the great pleasure of staying at the Amway Grand for ArtPrize last weekend. What a terrific hotel! This is the second time that we have stayed here, and both times were perfect. The staff is incredible, very attentive to our needs, the room was extremely comfortable, quiet and clean. Of all the places in the... More

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at for the customer service and all that there is in walking distance from the hotel. If you don't want to venture out Cygnus 27 is an amazing view and dinner. They have updated the tower guest rooms and they are amazing! I love the redesign. They are comfortable and contemporary.... In Grand Rapids for a family wedding which I conducted. This is a classic grand hotel. The downstairs lobby area is filled with shops, lots of people walking through, a very nice restaurant overlooking the Grand River and a smaller deli type restaurant called Cornucopia. The staff is very attentive, checking with us occasionally to see if we have any... More

We went to Grand Rapids for the ArtPrize. The hotel has a Picturesque river view in downtown Grand Rapids. Personnel all friendly and extremely helpful. Many restaurants and museums close. Meier Gardens is a must see!

We've stayed here a few times and have never experienced any problems. Nice hotel in a great location downtown. Very helpful staff. Within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, museums. Stay in the tower if you can. Rooms very updated and clean. Corner room even better. Elevator waits can be annoying at busy times but that would be my only... More
