This hotel was close to downtown Grand Rapids with a decent price. They also had shuttle service down to the Griffins (make sure you confirm when you make a reservation they can't do it if they only have one person on staff they can't ~ the shuttle runs until 9:00PM). We took at taxi back from the game and it... More

We are still working on the shuttle hours and our goal is to have a driver available everyday to bring our... More

I was very worried about staying here after reading the reviews. We were in town for my husband's birthday party and didn't plan to spend much time at the hotel besides to sleep and shower. I thought the rooms were fine. They were clean and we had a fridge and a microwave. The hotel was clean and it was nice that... More

Thought the rooms had balconies but they were faux. The view of the river wasn't very impressive especially looking down at the rooftop of the restaurant/bar. I would have at least had someone keeping that rooftop clean. Decent for the price during Art prize. The one feature I did appreciate was the sleep number bed. Best sleep I've had in... More

This hotel is in need of a desperate make over. They spent all their money on a sleep number bed system, however this hotel needs a deep cleaning and patch up. It's over priced for what it is. I would not recommend it or stay there again.

Was nice being by the River and close to the Federal district court where I had to report for jury selection. Room was nice however, the hotel itself could use some renovation. The hallways are dark, elevators are small and dimly lit. Did have a nice bar/restaurant with a comedy show that I enjoyed. Don't feel I would stay again.

The first room we were given had a very poor tv cable connection, the repair person came quickly but could not fix the problem apparently the splitter used on the cable was incorrect for the signal to go through, and there was another splitter sitting on top of the tv cabinet which also was incorrect so it was apparent that... The hotel is 2 miles away from downtown, $10 taxi each way, and the shuttle is unreliable. I arrived at 6pm on a Wednesday, and the shuttle was no longer running til 9pm "as usual." No explanation. The taxi ride is $10 each way to downtown. The amenities are there to qualify for 2+ stars, but the quality is not... More

This hotel was not what I expected. Fee for showing up early? Water pressure not good, only I towel for 2 people. Cleaning didn't include anything but soap, trash cans. The front desk was snobby for what I don't know. The elevators took FOREVER and the Pool was Cold and hot tub lukewarm. Like a lot of others they had... More

This hotel has No Cancellation Policy, so if you book a room here, you better stay because you will be charged. From the outside it appears there are balconies on the parking lot side, but in our room there was no door to access the balcony. At check in they added a $100.00 incidental fee in case you trash the... More
