The room is very large with everything you need. It has a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and is very spacious. Our room was so clean. You can tell the owners take very good care of this property. The walls be very solid b/c we were right by the hot tub and we didn't heard a sound or anything from the... More

The Voyageurs Motel had all the things I find most important in a motel or hotel; a comfortable bed, a very clean room and bath, convenient location to our activities and many amenities I hope for. The room had, and we used, the mini refrigerator and the coffee maker. A bonus was the water is the room was good enough... More

Thank you for the wonderful review we appreciate it a lot. We do have blow driers in the office for customers use. We have looked at the driers in the motel books but I really can't find a good spot where they wouldn't be knocked down or in the way but we will keep this on our to do list.... More

This was the last stop on our U.P. Michigan trip. The owners are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very large and have great view on the second floor. The room has a frig. and microwave. The beds are very comfortable. our room was 210. If it is hot there is no air conditioner. but we were comfortable with... More

We are fond of Grand Marais as a quiet base for hiking, beach, an relaxing. It was our first time at Voyageurs Motel, and I would be happy to return. As other reviews indicate, the room was spacious, well-maintained and clean. The sauna room and large hot tub was a welcome bonus.

Grand Marais is very small with not a lot of choices, but I am so glad we chose this motel. Spacious room, comfortable and very clean. The best part? The amazing view. Sunset, sunrise and lots of beautiful views of the Harbor and Lake Superior in between. Planning to go again, just so I can take in the view and... More

Our brief stay was very nice. The owners were very friendly and the location is beautiful. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only complaint is that the mini fridge was on the floor, rather than elevated, making it a little hard to access. We arrived fairly late on a Sunday night after a long day and were afraid... The Voyageurs Motel is not pet friendly. It shows that it is on tripadvisor. I just wanted to make everyone aware of this. We did not stay there because of this. In my humble opinion, Humans cause far more problems and damage than people.

We soent here one night. After a long ride we need a break. We find it here. Beautiful house and room. With a nice view to the sea. Silent area around the house. I stayed one night in late September on a 1000 mile fall foliage motorcycle ride in the great lakes region. I wanted a clean comfortable room and a safe place for my motorcycle. The room was better than I expected and Delphine let me put the bike in her garage. If my travels bring me back to this region I... More
