I read some good online reviews at other sites for this hotel. Don't be fooled. The location is pretty good - close to the main highway & only 2 miles from downtown. But that's its only selling feature. No where does Best Western state that there are 3 "out" buildings not connected to the main building. Even though the hotel... more

My wife and I needed a hotel room during Labor Day weekend and were happy to find that the Best Western had availability (they were later fully booked on that Friday and on Saturday) We paid $117 for a room in the newer section (AAA rate). We found the receptionist staff to be very friendly and efficient. The room was... more

We Stayed here for 2 nights and booked this room using Expedia. Well the price we got on Expedia was $94.00 a night. Little did we know it was a smoking room in one of their side buildings! Yes, side buildings see the photos. They don't show you these in thier pictures. In order to stay in the main new... more

We made last minute reservations here and had no problems. We were a little disappointed about paying $117, but figured we were lucky to get a room at all at the last minute, in a place that almost only has rental property, and somewhere that has one of the nicest beach areas in the U.S. We stayed in the building... more

Great location to stay for enjoying Grand Haven and day trips to Saugatuck, South Haven and New Holland. Call direct for the best rates. This was our second time staying there. Our 2 double beds, non-smoking room was in the main building and was spacious and clean, . The staff were very friendly and responsive. However, eat breakfast somewhere else... more

This hotel was in a great and convenient location. The rooms were clean and quiet. This was not an expensive hotel but a good value for the reasonably priced rooms. The hotel grounds were very well manicured. The staff was friendly and accomodating to all of our needs. I would stay at this hotel again for these reasons. more

My husband and I stayed here last weekend, in a recently rennovated room in the one-story outbuilding. The room was spacious, had a small patio facing onto a small courtyard, and was very clean. The bathroom, also newly rennovated, was clean, the water was hot enough and the showerhead worked fine (a pet peeve of many, so no problems here).... more

The hotel has the main building and detached one-story and two-story units. We stayed in the main building, so I don't know about the rooms in the detached units. I found the room very clean. Everything looked almost brand-new. Though we are on the top (third) floor, the water pressure was impressively high. We did not hear any noise from... more
