My daughter and I wanted to spend some quality time together before she returned to college. This was our first trip to Western Michigan, and Tony and Michelle made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. The Washington Street Inn was very charming, with many antiques, comfortable furniture, and games to play in the evening. The innkeepers are... More

Fabulous spot to relax! I so enjoyed the ambiance and warmth! Great place for our family to gather as we celebrated my niece's wedding. --- Comfortable beds and lots of great coffee, two very important things!

Every time I pull out my wonderful Washington Street Inn mug, I smile remembering a fabulous time our family had there. We were celebrating my daughter's wedding November 17th at the Grand Hall downtown in GH, so wanted a place for family (10 people) to stay at that was close to the venue, and so we could be together. Michelle... More

My husband and I stayed at the Washington Inn from Aug. 7-9, 2013 . We were greeted by Tony outside and then by his wife Michelle. They were immediately friendly and accomodating and we felt we made the right choice in choosing this B&B. Everything was perfect about our stay. The full breakfast were fabulous and the apple crisp was... More

This inn is Circa 1902. Stayed for only one night. Innkeepers are lovely people and very accommodating. I felt like a guest in their home. Quaint, comfortable porch to sit and watch the world go by. Very good breakfast. Only item lacking was a morning newspaper.

Our group stayed in the two rooms that adjoin, with a shared bathroom between the rooms, which was ideal for our three adults and one teen, who are all related and compatible. This was our second stay and we couldn't have been happier. Tony and Michelle are attentive to details, they made us feel at home, the accommodations were well... More

Booked a 3 night weekend stay, traveling with hubby on business. (June 2013) I'll 'fess up and let you know that it was our first B & B experience in 30+ years of business travel, so we didn't know what to expect. The owners, Tony and Michelle, did not disappoint! They are warm, welcoming, and attentive to their guests needs... More

My wife surprised me for my birthday with a night here after dinner and a concert in Spring Lake (FYI if you are in the area check out Seven Steps Up for a show. Lots of great acts playing acoustic performances in an old Masonic lodge. Great venue and great show). Angelina did a great job subbing for her parents.... More

We spent the 4th of July in Grand Haven and had a great surprise. The Washington Street Inn felt like we were at home. Everything was good. The rooms were clean and breakfast was a treat. The inn owners were helpful with recommendations for dinner and fireworks after. The fireworks were spectacular and dinner very good. It was truly a... More
