Coming from Horton Bay and on our way to Plymouth, we found the Hampton Inn in Gaylord a perfect location. From check-in to check-out, the hotel was perfect for our needs. The pool gave us needed exercise.

Smelly room, dusty and dirty air conditioning unit. Staff fine, helpful but rooms are atrocious. Pool was also dirty and hot tub jets barely worked. Breakfast fine.Too bad this is a great location just subpar roomsd for a Hampton

Very pleasant overnight stay while on extensive road trip throughout Michigan and Wisconsin. Would stay again if in area. We went on to the Grand Hotel at Mackinaw Island, quite a comparison. Mackinaw is beautiful and should be on everyones bucket list.

Our family came into town for a wedding, so we were looking around for a place to stay. Since the Hampton had the best rates, we made a reservation for two nights. I wish we had been there longer to use the facilities. The breakfast had plenty of selection and the hot food was different the next day. The pool... More

Definitely one of the best Hampton Inn's have ever stayed at. The staff was great, and my room was clean and comfortable. Loved the continental hot breakfast and sevice. I plan on staying there next year for my vacation!

Pretty standard for a Hampton Inn. Easy access to the Interstate and a couple of restaurants (Bob Evans and Ruby Tuesdays). Walmart right behind. Nice pool and hot tub. Above average free breakfast. Wish the TV came with a channel guide.

Stopped overnight in July. Room seemed to need a little extra attention compared to other Hamptons we stay at. Still, the beds were comfortable and we had nothing to really complain about. Still a better stay than a lot of similarly priced hotels we've been at. The breakfast areas in all of the Hampton Inn's are great and this one... More

Had one night when we were heading north for kayaking. Just what I would expect from a Hampton Inn. Clean. Staff was courteous. Ample parking. We faced away from highway so had little noise. It is in the middle of a shopping area, right next to Walmart. Don't expect to enjoy nature right out the door. Breakfast was good. Internet... More

Have stayed here in the past and was given a full refund due to an unresolved issue. Decided after several years to give them a second chance. Air conditioning vents in our room blocked with disgusting dirt and debris. Saw a wad of hair in front of another guest room that was still there 2 days later, obviously no one... More

Room was a bit small but clean and confortable. Breakfast was very good - couple of hot choices usually includes scrambled eggs or omelets and waffles. Breakfast room was very nice better than most with lots of seating space. Only complaint . . . need to do a better job keeping the hallway carpet clean - saw lots of scraps... More
