THe room was nice. new linens and comforters. but the breakfast area was scattered through the lobby . They had one room with tables so you could sit and eat and they would of been better off putting the food in the area against a wall. instead they have some near the vending machines and some in the hall way... more

Room was clean but terribly small. I felt cramped in. TV was placed high atop the closet armoire, random placement. Internet free but slow. Breakfast was bare bones, but really good apples! Random dogs barking a lot, but I got to sleep just fine. Note that the hotel is down a road that is currently under construction. Lots of potholes... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Baymont Inn of Gaylord the Saturday night of Labor Day weekend because we were headed up to Mackinaw the following day. The prices of the rooms in Mackinaw City are outrageously priced because of the high demand due to the Mackinac Bridge walk, so we figured we'd stay someplace cheaper one night of... more

A few glaring issues make what would be a perfectly good hotel rather unpleasant. The front foyer of the hotel smelled of smoke when we were checking in. The room itself didn't smell, but we were kept awake by repeated yelling and running in the hall. The sound of slamming doors was also persistent. We called to complain and the... more

Stayed here with my two young children and we had a great stay. The beds are new, pillows soft, bed linens also new with duvets! The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will most definitely stay here again. I would suggest a better continental breakfast though(waffles are toasted kind, not the fresh made ones) with fresh fruit not just... more

I recently spent one night at the Baymont in Gaylord while driving to the UP for vacation. The hotel just got new mattresses which are fantastic and just as comfortable as any bed I've slept in at a Marriott. I know recent postings have said the beds were terrible, but they have replaced them with new ones that are heavenly,... more

For the money, this hotel is quite a find. We had a nice stay at the Baymont. It is located next to the Big Buck Brewery, which was convenient. The room was clean and the shower had a good water flow, however the beds are old and do not have a lot of cushion left. The pool area was super... more

My crew's price was $53 a night per person. Fortunately we only had to stay here one night. After being on the road for the past 36 hours, we were both anxious to get some much needed rest. Sadly, it was not meant to be. The lobby was immediately offensive with the odor of smoking. However, my room was a... more

Decent room, and the price wasn't bad. However, there were just so many little things that kept happening. We stayed two nights, and both nights had to call the desk (after 11 p.m.) because of a dog barking in a nearby room. The staff did take care of it, but we lost an hour of sleep each night. The toilet... more
