I was impressed. I read good reviews and I read bad ones. And I determined that the people who left bad ones are just mean or unhappy people. The hotel was just fine. The staff was fine. Rooms were clean. Wifi worked. TV and ac worked. What more do people want? I highly recommend the place.

I had to be in Gaylord for a banquet and instead of spending a lot of money on the resort just to sleep, I opted for looking for an inexpensive hotel. The Alpine Lodge fit the bill. It was $30 less than most of the area hotels and was close to where I needed to be. I had booked the... More

Alpine Lodge is a great place to stay in Gaylord. The last time I was here was over 20 years ago when it was still the original Holiday Inn. Don't expect a five-star establishment. It is a warm, welcoming no-frills hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The facility has a pool, sauna, hot tub, and on-site restaurant. It is... More

The staff takes great care of you, breakfast is awesome, the pool area and hot tub is always clean. Chef at the hotel is a sweet cook! I suggest the fire grilled pizza! Our family will definitely be returning to the Alpine.

Had a great time march 28th. Loved the beautiful pool area and the cagefights that night were great. The staff was very helpful, the food was wonderful and I didn't have any problems finding a good spot for the show. Wonderful venue.

Our stay at the Alpine Lodge was very comfortable. The room was tired but clean and the breakfast was very good. Big plate of scrambled eggs and homemade raisin bread. It was very off season so the whole place was quiet. I liked the fact that the dog stayed free. There was a big grassed area behind the lodge that... More

The management made sure we had everything we needed for our retreat. We were the first retreat since the hotel had new owners. We have on member who is Gluten Free and they made sure her food was prepared separate and not cross contaminated in the kitchen.

Came for Daddy Daughter dance and stressed here. Hotel is nice the money but not 4-Star. Beds are comfy with nice pillows. Bathrooms are outdated and water temps were irregularly hot then cold. Dog poop in the parking lot and puke uncleaned by the back door. Steak dinner at restaurant was VERY good and pizza was best I've had in... More

Restaurant, bar, and wood fired pizza, pool, hot tub and sauna all under one roof. Great for snowmobiling, good access to trails and no need to leave when you get back. Not a Hilton but has character.
