This is the second time we have stayed at Harbor Lights Resort in Frankfort in lieu of paying the high rates at Crystal Mountain. It is an easy 15 minute drive to the slopes and you get a lot of space for your money. Last year we had a three bedroom condo for around $200. This year we got a... More

We were in the family suite and it was just perfect for our annual color tour. My husband and I traveled with another couple and this worked out well. We were able to enjoy the friendship and still have our privacy. They had the bedroom and we had a walled off area for sleeping (in real beds). It had a... More

Dear Guest, I'm so pleased to hear that you had a good experience...that is our goal with every guest that visits. We look forward to seeing you again and maybe you can try another one of our many room types, (and if you visit spring through fall, I promise we will have those great doughnuts!). Thank you, Steve Campbell Harbor... More

We stayed 2 nights in one of the basic motel rooms for $138 a night plus tax. Front desk staff was unfriendly and not very helpful (we had a hard time finding our room with the lack of direction given and so did the couple we were with/very poor sineage for room numbers and for ice/vending) We had to drive... Dear Guest, I'm sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. There are several things that you brought up that I would like to discuss with you directly, including the rate that you said you paid. Our rates for weekends from Labor Day through mid October for the motel rooms in 2015 are $119 plus tax, not $138 plus... More

We've stayed here before, in the Hotel-type rooms (and they were nice), but never tried getting one of the condo/apartment units. We had an end unit, with windows all around, a hot-tub, kitchen, and fireplace. It was absolutely stunning and romantic, with a view of the harbor and just a short walk into town or a few steps to the... More

Stayed here on a family vacation while road tripping through Michigan. Was a last minute booking so we weren't entirely sure what we were getting. Stayed in a family suite and it was perfect! Plenty of room for 5 adults, and overlooking a nice beach where we enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the lighthouse. Would... More

We were very pleased with our 3 night stay. We walked out to the lighthouse and fished from the pier. We got the off season rate which made it a very good deal. We drove to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and enjoyed the views there.

Lovely, Clean, and Comfortable with a beautiful location, Just a walk around the corner of the building and your toes are in the powdery sands of Lake Michigan. Friendly town with just the right amount of shops and restaurants. Not to big and not to small. Everything about this stay was just right. Although I don't like the split bathrooms.... More

We loved our stay here! We loved it so much that we extended our stay during the busy Labor Day weekend.... Steve and his staff worked hard to make that happen for us. The beach was gorgeous, the town was quaint, but still fun and there are a lot of activities to keep everyone entertained. I will definitely return.

We shared a walk-out beachfront condo. Had a beautiful view of the lake & lighthouse at all times. Everything we needed, good food & shopping nearby. Lovely condo with nice amenities. Golf nearby at Pinecroft was great! Only recommendation would be room-darkening shades in bedrooms.

I recently stayed at Harbor Lights Resort while in Frankfort, MI for my best friend's wedding. I stayed in one of their Motel Rooms - which was perfect since it was just me. It was your standard hotel room, and just the right amount of space. Very clean and updated. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and... More
