I booked this hotel room under orders from my friend (and bride). She had pick Bay Port Lodging to be the bridal party hub and it could not have been more perfect. Our room was adorable, and staff was incredibly friendly. Our group had rented out almost every room, and we did not have to worry about disturbing others. It... More

In the many years of traveling throughout Michigan I have never experianced a more relaxing and pleasurable stay than at the Bay Port Lodge. Beautiful, relaxing clean rooms in the heart of Frankfort. Easy walking distance to beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets, fine dining, exciting shops and entertainment. This location truely lives and breathes the expression "Pure Michigan". Hospitality at its... We actually found this motel while searching through TripAdvisor. We stayed here for one night while celebrating our 15th anniversary in the Sleeping Bear area. Very courteous and pleasant at check-in, Lindy walked us to our room and showed us around. They even brought us a bottle of wine when they found out it was our anniversary! The room was... More

The Lodge is right off the main street so is a comfortable walking distance to downtown. Also there is a grocery store only 2 blocks away. The room is clean and spacious with a sitting area complete with a selection of books. There is a refrigerator, although no dresser space. The bathroom is clean, small but adequate with a stall... We found this hotel a year ago for our fall vacation. We liked the coziness of the rooms and the hospitality of the staff. The location and price really fit our needs, so with what we felt was a "home run",decided to plan our fall vacation with this hotel again this year. Upon arriving we were invited to visit relatives downstate... More

I am so sorry for what seems to be a horrible misunderstanding and miscommunication all the way around. When the vehicle owners did not show up on the date I was told they would return, I attempted to find a phone number for them online and all numbers associated with them had been disconnected. We had recently had a vehicle... More

Stayed for 3 nights - very happy with the staff and lodging - this a nice, comfortable motel with reasonable prices in a good location if you like biking, hiking, fishing and walks to town for dinner. The room we were in was nicely decorated and clean. The bicycle trail (bestie valley trail) was great. I highly recommend the ride... More

Frankfort is a cute little town on the upper coast of Lake Michigan. This motel fits right in with the town. It is great to stay in a non-chain motel in a little resort area like this. The motel is old but clean and the motel is nicely decorated both inside and out. You can walk to town and there... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Bay Port Lodge in Frankfort. Walking distance to everything from restaurants, beach, pier, bicycle trail. Frankfurt is a hidden gem, family oriented, many shops, restaurants and very close to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our room was comfortable, extremely clean, pictures are honest to your stay!

Quaint lodging with a personal touch by charming owners. This place is clean and has character along with a great location to shopping, dining, and the beach, along with biking and walking trails just blocks from the front door. There is even a large grocery store 1 blk away for all of your needs. The owners are super friendly and... More
