2nd shift front desk clerk was very polite but the older, heavy set man that was working the night shift was very very rude and disrespectful!! He tried to argue with me and make me feel stupid! He obviously wasn't trained that well because I was tought, even if they're wrong, the customer is always right. Signed, Disappointed Guest

Like the last reviewer, we stayed at the only hotel in Evart because my widowed mother's pipes burst and we had no other option. To say it was a disaster is an understatement. I was trying to fall asleep and noticed without my glasses on, a dark spot on the sheet near where I was lying. I got up; turned... More

Hello, my name is Kim and I am very sorry to hear of your bad experience at the Osceola Grand Hotel :(. Unfortunately a lot of the hotels across America are experiencing this issue. I have been working for the hotel since 2002. Our exterminator assured us that with all of the traffic a hotel gets it's inevitable that it... More

Had to make a last minute trip to Hersey MI and stopped late at night at this property. Was very surprised at how nice and clean the place was. The most impressive item was the breakfast area. Food was good, but the area of the food serving was as nice as any Marriot I have stayed in.. Staff was friendly... More

Me and my husband stayed here while visiting family. The room was fine enough but the continental breakfast food must be stored by the pool supplies. Me and my husband both got sick, everything tasted of the chlorine. I will never be staying here again and will not recommend other.

I can assure you that our breakfast items are stored in a closet in our breakfast room and our pool chemicals are all stored in a closet in the pool room. I am sorry that you were getting that strong chlorine smell - the breakfast room is not far from the pool room and we have to keep the door... More

We stay here every year with our motorcyle group. We're older travelers and appreciate the staff going the extra mile for us. The rooms are clean, neat, and well stocked. This is right next to the fairgrounds in Evart and going over to the fairgrounds is a short walk. You are also right next to a grocery store (walkable) to... More

The hotel has a nice pool area with plenty of towels. Continental breakfast is included, with a good selection of coffee and flavorings. There is lots of parking. Rooms are neat and clean. Located right next door to the fairgrounds and the community football and track field. Also close to grocery store and McDonalds.

In this little town of Evert and other towns around the Osceola Grand Hotel is just about your only choice. But, for the money it is just fine!! Very clean, comfortable beds, big mini-frig, very friendly staff. Third time that we have stayed there and for the money you can't go wrong!!

We were looking for a place to stay about an hour out of Ludington where we'd arrived on the car ferry in the early evening and had stopped for dinner. We were on our way to the Blue Water Bridge crossing into Canada. It's not a major highway. Let me tell you, there aren't a lot of choices that fit... More

We stayed here one night on our way from Ludington to Flint to visit family. We payed $99 for a so-so room. We couldn't get online with the internet, a very important issue with us, and when I called the front desk, I basically got a "shrug" from the clerk. For breakfast, cereal and muffins were offered. When the OJ... More

We had more than 14 rooms booked for my sister's wedding and we had nothing but problems from the start. They messed up the price, the special requests and the worst they forgot to save the bridal suite for my sister! Ugh! They had too much of an "oh well attitude" ! The beds were like sleeping on concrete! On... More
