I am a regular. Great location, outstanding fitness center, comfortable rooms, and consistently excellent service... Worth the price. more

During my daughter's years at MSU, I have stayed at the Marriott some 30-40 nights between dropoffs, pickups and football weekends. Of course the location and the facilities like the gym and restaurant are great, and we love the comfortable beds, but the thing that sets this hotel apart is the consistently excellent service. From the reservations to arrival to... more

The main benefit of the East Lansing Marriott is the location--it's just seconds from the MSU campus and the shops and restaurants of downtown East Lansing. I also liked the hotel for its: 1) Pretty nice gym (ample equipment, open 24 hours) 2) Incredibly comfortable beds! I find it odd that the more you pay for a hotel, the less... more

I accompanied my wife to East Lansing in mid August for a one-day conference. While the conference was at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, based on the reviews on Tripadvisor.com we chose to instead stay at the Marriott. I'm glad we did. We had breakfast one morning at the Kellogg Hotel which appeared to be nice enough but the... more

We just returned from the East Lansing Marriott we were in town for our daughters wedding. We arranged for a block of rooms at the Marriott in Feb. And they kept in contact with us through out the year to make sure we didn't need anything or make special arrangements for our guest. Christy was wonderful She arranged for early... more

We decided to stay here instead of the number 1 hotel for Lansing. I cannot believe that this hotel would be number 2! 100% non smoking, which is so nice. It has a superior location and amazing service. Underground secure parking garage. Minutes walking distance to a number of restaurants. Close to the University. Everything you need is here. Very... more

I stayed here every week for about 4 months when I was in town on business. Every week the service was great and the room was spotless. It's also a great location right on the outskirts of the university. You'll feel like you're back in college again once you step out of the doors. Great, cheap places to eat nearby... more

I have stayed at the Marriott twice and believe it is the best hotel in the East Lansing area. I almost hesitate to tell you why it's so great because it's already fully booked too many weekends for my liking! The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The photos on the hotel website are accurate. The rooms I stayed... more

As others have noted, a very good and friendly staff. Had good experiences with the staff without exception. Good check-in. Room service was speedy and accurate. The room was standard size. The bed was very comfortable. $10 fee for internet in the room (I HATE that!). There are several free wireless nodes in the atrium. Room was clean and well-maintained.... more

Family of three with toddler spent three nights at this lovely, quiet, 4-star hotel on the top floor overlooking the atrium. Check-in and out service was expedient, friendly, and professional. Typical Marriott elevator overlooking atrium. Simple, elegant decor. Subsidized parking, but fee for non-guest parking. One block away from MSU "main" street with restaurants and stores. Not sure that the... more
