I had to be there for a seminar at the Kellogg Center and my wife found this place. Right in the heart of East Lansing a few block from the student Union. Very friendly helpful owner. The breakfast was superb, and the accommodations are great. We stayed in the back house, called The Gossling in a room with a great... more

This is an unforgettable, extraordinary experience. The rooms are immaculate (I have stayed in all of them through the years). I am a business traveler and enjoyed plug-in Ethernet and WiFi in all rooms. In addition, a guest computer stand includes a USB printer, which I have used on occasion and very much enjoyed. Mattresses are top-of-the-line. All rooms had... more

The Wild Goose Inn is in downtown E. Lansing and literally one block from campus. It is a quaint B & B. The room was beautiful. I experienced only one glitch based on a mis-communication. However, the innkeeper more than made up for my inconvenience. This was so much nicer than staying at the large Marriott down the street. more

The Wild Goose Inn was the perfect setting for our mini get-a-way. The Autumn Arbor room was well appointed and unique. Along with the fireplace and jacuzzi, the host had fresh flowers and candles in the room—what a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was fantastic and prepared once we arrived in the dining room. The host was knowledgeable of the area and... more

I stayed at the Inn for one night on a very cold december night. Inside the inn it was lovely warm and we were quickly greeted by one of the friendly employees who showed us to our room. We were in the summer safari room, which features (amongst others) a nice 'for two' jacuzzi and a lovely fireplace. All the... more

This place is amazing--I can't recommend it highly enough! I couldn't decide which room I wanted when I booked my two night stay, so I picked two--Summer Safari for the first night, and Autumn Arbor for the second. Both rooms were AMAZING, though the decor in Autumn Arbor takes the cake--the canopy of fall leaves on the ceiling and walls... more

Stayed here because the hotels in the area looked just too drab. This was one of my best staying away from home experiences ever. The rooms are magnificently decorated, every detail is attended to - including wine openers and state of the art shower heads. The jacuzzi was fantastic and the fireplace added to the ambiance. I will probably return... more

My husband and I stayed here one night as a last minute escape from the kids and though we had only driven cross-town to get there, we felt as though we truly did have a getaway. As we were the only guests that night, the owner took us through each room and let us choose. We chose the Summer Safari... more

The Wild Goose Inn is a terrific option if you're looking for a non-chain lodging option immediately next to downtown East Lansing or Michigan State University's campus. (Be forewarned, though: MSU is a huge, huge campus and you may not be within walking distance of where you want to be.) It's also a great place to choose for a romantic... more

We had a wonderful time in East Lansing and our stay at the Wild Goose was perfect. We stayed in the Indian Summer room, which is in the back building called the Gosling. The tub was at least six feel long with warm air jets all around the base ... heavenly. The walk-in shower was also wonderful with two large... more
