Booked 2 nights stay for MSU visit but blizzard on the east coast cancelled all flights to the 2 major airports in Michigan. Contacted owners to advise that flights were cancelled, letting them know we couldn’t come and would need to reschedule at a later date. 2 calls and an email went unanswered. Southwest, being the smart business it is,... More

Spent five days here - extremely friendly proprietors and terrific accommodations. Breakfast (included) was terrific - featuring delicious muffins and made-to-order eggs. Also proximity to MSU and local restaurants/brew pubs is a big plus. I stayed in the "back house" - a delightful log-cabin vibe with fireplace, jacuzzi tub, etc. Recommended!!

I took my husband to the Wild Goose Inn as his birthday gift this year. Many of our friends have stayed here, but we wondered, "why would we stay at a B&B just a few miles from our house?" Well, now I see why... Walking into the Wild Goose Inn is like walking into a luxurious home in another land.... More

I really can't add a lot to other reviews. It's a B&B not a hotel, so it was a blessed relief after living in a (perfectly good) chain establishment for the previous 4 nights. Al and his team were pleasant, helpful, sociable if approached but otherwise respectful of my privacy. It felt real, and the different suites - I ended... More

Directly behind and across the street from the hub of campus and downtown East Lansing. Highly recommended if you are taking in the art fair, any campus event or just want to surround yourself with young, energetic college age adults. Too many places to eat to mention, a new brewpub adjacent- biking, walking, car friendly neighborhood. The place is quaint,... More

Despite attending MSU for undergrad and living in East Lansing for a number of years, my husband and most of my friends never even noticed this spot! They've done a great job of keeping it private and quiet with lots trees and fencing. We really enjoyed the Great Lakes room, especially the private balcony. Great location and the decor was... Though we're seasoned travelers we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations, high-quality breakfast, superb location, but especially the genuine charm of the innkeeper, Al. Frankly, chatting, however briefly, was a great part of our visit to MSU. His advice was invaluable, since we had but one day in town. Can't wait to get back!!
