Stayed at the Kellogg for my daughter's MSU orientation. Yes, the rooms are tiny -- You walk in, there's a short hallway, to your left a tiny 6 by 8 bathroom (whose quirks we will get to in a moment), a small closet, and a room no more than 12 by 15 feet. However, the rooms are beautifully appointed --... more

We stayed here for 2 nights for Michigan State graduation. The location couldn't be better for graduation at the Breslin Center and the availabilty of free parking is a huge plus since parking at MSU is a pain. Check in was courteous and efficient and they handled the fact that we were paying for rooms for two other parties without... more

Fortunately, my job allows me to stay in many university hotels. The Kellogg Center was among the tops I've stayed in. I stayed here for one night following an event I attended on Michigan State's campus. The hotel is within walking distance of the stadium and edge of campus. Pros: Rooms were very modern, front desk very helpful, the shower/bathtub... more

I stayed in the Kellogg in June. The rooms were comfortable but small, as we had heard. They were quite dark, very nice beds, though. Luckily I was sharing with my sister – it wasn’t so good for the people who had to share with someone they didn’t know. The restaurant had a cheapish menu outside but when we went... more

This was my second time staying at the Kellogg Center for a weeklong conference. My first trip was uneventful and I decided to stay again for the convenience...big mistake! Let me tell you first that the desk staff is very friendly & helpful and the rooms are clean. The rooms are also very small and the bathrooms are even smaller.... more

I stayed here overnight recently since I attended a conference. I booked a deluxe room (much larger than their standard room) which included a comfortable king sized bed, small sitting area, and work desk. It was quite modern and immaculate. The bathroom was rather small, as previous reviewers mentioned. There was a showerhead with just a curtain, in the toilet/sink... more

The hotel is newly remodeled with a variety of room sizes and european type bathroom facilities. The smaller rooms are tastefully designed and have a small working area. The dining room and hotel staff service is excellent. They have fee wireless and a nice conference facility. more

We had the luxury category room and we found it to be very nice. The king bed was extremely comfortable and we especially enjoyed the 10+ pillows. The room was very large (almost twice the size of that standard room), with a barrel style chair, sofa bed, workstation, and 27" flat-panel LCD television. Yes, the bathroom was pretty small and... more

Have stayed here many times. On the plus side: beautiful location on the banks of the Red Cedar River, free use of campus pools and athletic facilities, and CBC on the cable (the only Lansing hotel offering a Canadian channel). My first room had a key card /door problem so I switched rooms. Same problem: either the key card or... more
