tayed here whilst taking a course at MSU - chosen as it has kitchens in the studio rooms - well equipped, clean and tidy and peaceful. Easy walk to campus and close to some great restaurents - esp the sushi more

Not sure why this place is called TownePlace Suites because basically it's a Residence Inn by Marriott. But all in all, you can't complain. The place is great for a short stay but even better for an extended stay. You have a full kitchen, nice work desk, pull-out couch, comfy bed, etc. They have high-speed internet but it's NOT wireless,... more

If you're visiting MSU, this is a wonderful place to stay. Although it's not quite as close to the central part of campus as the Marriott, it's close enough. The reception was very friendly and the room was spotless. Thre is plenty of parking, and there are several restaurants within walking distance (Hannah Plaza). We're already planning our next trip... more

We stayed in a two bedroom suite for four nights while we attended my nephew's wedding. We had the convenience of sharing a room with my parents and the privacy of separate bedrooms. It was more like home than a hotel since we had a living area to spend time in rather than use the beds as furniture to sit... more

The hotel was very clean and spacious. Hotel staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and events that were happening. The hotel itself has a small outdoor pool. Guests of the hotel can purchase a day pass to the local athletic club for $8(which I thought was cool). Our room was very clean, with comfortable beds. It was... more

We stayed here for a 5 days during a conference my husband attended. We were in the B building on the first floor, in the back, with a view of the forest from our window. It was completely quiet and even the sounds of the other hotels guests were more muffled than I expected. We loved this hotel staff's willingess... more

Stayed here for a week. It's more for longer term stayers and a "home away from home" and have all the cooking / food storage / eating / cleaning facilities in the room. I stayed in a studio suite and so it is one large room (sep. bathroom of course!) rather than having a separate bedroom. Room was fine, kitchen... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night while in town for a wedding. Although we found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, the room left a bit to be desired. We travel often, and have stayed in many all suite hotels. The stove burners were filthy, the cupboards had not been wiped down in a long time,... more

We stayed at the TownePlace Suites in East Lansing, MI with our entire youth hockey team. From the time we blocked our rooms until the time we left, our families were thrilled with the service, cleanliness, and value we received at the TownePlace Suites. The management and the help at the desk did everything they could to make sure that... more
