My wife and I just spent three days in the Vineyard cottage at Deer Creek and thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is secluded and quiet and totally relaxing. The location is excellent with easy access to Saugatuck, Douglas and Oval Beach. One thing you should do when making your reservation is to confirm what the schedule is for breakfasts. They... More

Cute cottages. Adorable, in fact. Quiet and remote, and quick drive to Oval Beach. But the bugs were terrible. Dead flying insects on surfaces, spiders everywhere. I had bites all over me for a week afterwards. I think that a deep cleaning, spraying to kill everything first, then spraying the perimeter on a regular schedule for prevention would make this... After checking out of a roach-infested motel, Deer Creek was an oasis. Carmen is a fabulous hostess, cook and any other job that needs done.

This inn is near the downtown area of Douglas, near a golf course. Had a short one-night stay in the Cooper Suite, which was roomy and nicely appointed, if not lavish. Price was reasonable given the area and peak season. Nice continental breakfast. Wasn't able to really enjoy the amenities, hope to next time. Do yourself a favor and eat... More

We stayed in "The Dunes" cottage and LOVED it. Loved the private deck, homemade breakfast delivered to the door every morning(swedish pancakes were AMAZING), and the hot tub on site. Carmen was very nice and helpful. Overall a great weekend getaway and we will be back.

We had a great stay at Deer Creek B&B! The B&B is located on "the dune side of Saugatuck." It's a very short drive (about five minutes) from Douglas Beach, Oval Beach, downtown Douglas and downtown Saugatuck. (It can take a lot longer to find parking in Saugatuck than it takes to drive there from the B&B.) Three very small... More

We planned to be in Saugatuck, MI for 4 nights but the weather was terrible so we left after 3 nights. We booked a cottage at Deer Creek Cottages. We stayed in the smaller cottage on their property on Ferry St.(Captains Quarters). We knew it was small when we booked it but figured we wouldn't be spending much time there... More

Deer Creek B&B is wonderful! Kevin and Kelly are so nice and friendly. They do a great job of making you feel welcome. We don't stay at the B&B, we stay at one of the cottages on Lucy St. They are located in a very quiet area and it's like having your own cottage. The Little Lucy is small, but... More
