We stayed for a concert. There were a few good things. A free shuttle to and from the concert and very friendly staff. Beds were really small. The shower was clean but had no pressure. We only got 2 towels left in the room for 4 people. The air conditioner dripped water on the rug leaving a bad smell in... More

This motel is NOT in a bad area of town; for that, try the Packard Hotel. OK, so it's not within walking distance of Greektown, but then, you will have to pay fancy prices for that. The staff (Steve at the desk and Andre at the wheel of the shuttle) were amazing. Andre especially gets kudos for his personable shuttle... More

The motel is in a bad area of town. You don't dare walk anywhere. Only one set of towels for 3 guest. Suffered flea bites while there. Was informed if you stay past the 10am check out time, it is an additional $10.00 per hour. Lot of 'street' traffic. Morning free breakfast consisted of wheat or white toast and cold... More

We stayed here in July and our room had NO A/C. We got in late from the Jimmy Buffet concert and the front desk worker was smokig a cig outside. We got to the room and tried to start the air and had no luck. The following day when I wanted to speak to someone about the A/C I was... More

As said before, you get what you pay for. We had a total of 3 people in our room and were only given 2 towels and washcloths. There was an ironing board in the room but no iron. I went to the front desk and asked about both. The employee informed me there were no more towns until morning because... More

Hotel room was average. Clean but not spotless. Front desk employee was very friendly. Air conditioner worked, hot water worked. No Pool. Wireless didn't work from our room. Decent place to spend one night. However, as we were driving to Belle Isle Park we saw a shootout between two guys about a block away from this hotel. Because of this... More

I was not impressed at all with this hotel. The front desk people are nice but their rooms are not clean. The bathroom had mold and the bathtub was dirty. I stayed for 2 night and had no housekeeping service. Beds were clean but I avoid to laid on the covers simply because you never know :[. Breakfast is free... More

In comparison to the other economy hotels in Detroit, this is one of the better ones. However, keep your expectations realistic. Good rates, good location, clean and services were on part with a value hotel. Some areas of the hotel were run down, a few issues with the room e.g. Light not working, trim loose, some signs of mold on... More
