Security door inconsistently latched. Fire alarms beeping in hallway like they weren't working. Room fire alarm disconnected and in drawer. No indication the elevator ever inspected. Carpets stained. Upholstery stained and worn. Shower handle broken. Sketchy neighborhood. Smelled like stale smoke covered up by incense. Security latch inside the door broken. Dirty bathroom. Sheets didn't fit bed. Pass on this... More

1. Bathroom dirty...baseboards had an inch of dust and floor dirty. 2. Shower went from hot to cold without adjustments. 3. Had a "flat" double or maybe queen size sheet on a king size bed, exposing the mattress. 4. Pillow cases dirty or stained. 5. No Kleenex or tissue (container was empty) 6. TV reception was horrible...lot of snow! 7.... More

First thing, the heat/ac knobs were broken. The shower had no pressure and sprayed out the back side. The tub didn't hold water, the drain plug was broke. So the staff brought us a cork to put in the drain. Took an hour to get luke warm water, let alone fill up the jacuzzi. The bathroom counter was falling off... More

price and location are good, Detroit downtown is in walking distance, just around 15 mins walking. Staff is very warm and helpful, Andre is a nice guy. I definitely will stay again next time. There is a restaurant next door to the hotel.

First thing, bullet proof glass at check in desk. Next the door dead bolt didn't work. Then the phone rang, however the receiver was ripped from the cord. A knock on the door was a nice guy called Sylvester telling us we were parked in the shuttle space. We ended up parking in front of the dumpster. As I started to... More

This hotel had really friendly and helpful service at all hours. Unfortunately the rooms were also noisy at all hours. Not sure if linen was as clean as it could be either. Close to car hire which was convenient.

Stayed at the hotel for the Thanksgiving Day Lions game. Had an amazing experience dealing with the staff! They were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The best of the best was the shuttle driver Andre! He was absolutely amazing! They had a free shuttle that took us from the hotel to a short walk away... More

DO NOT stay at this hotel! The main lobby is thick with bullet-proof glass and when we asked the front desk if this was a good part of town, he said, "Yeah, ya know, it's downtown"... There were homeless people walking around and had tents set up nearby. When we walked down the hallway to our room, it smelled TERRIBLE... More
