I did not end up staying here because of a power outage in the Detroit Airport area.. I was 3 hours away when I called to see how late the hotel restaurant would be open. I was RUDELY told by the woman who answered the phone that it was NOT open and would not be opening because the power was... more

My traveling buddy is a Marriott fan and booked this hotel, not realizing it was supposed to be a full service hotel. As she is an "elite" member, we had a room on the 4th floor and this included concierge room/service. We were able to have a nice breakfast and snacks in the evening. The room cost about $150 USD/night.... more

WWE was in town in January and we went up to stay to see them. It is right near the airport with free shuttle service. There is also a Bob Evans next door. It was very, very nice. Everything you expect out of a Marriott. The Pub was great! Our bartendar that night was excellent! It was a guy and he... more

Booked this hotel through Priceline 5 days prior to checking in for $45/night ($58.22 with taxes & fees) Upon check out an additional $2 airport charge was slipped under my door. Shuttle to airport runs every 30 minutes between midnight and 5:00 a.m. and then every 20 minutes for the remainder of the day. Shuttle was prompt (picks up at... more

We flew to Detroit to drive over to Canada for Christmas. This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, restaurants, stores. The staff was very courteous and helpful, free Internet in the Lobby and great rooms. We booked two rooms and they were in excellent condition. more

I stayed at this property for 2 nights in December while in town on business. Due to weather concerns I wanted to stay close to the airport and not mess with a rental car. As it snowed everyday, this was a good call. It took 45 minutes for the hotel shuttle to arrive at the airport, but the shuttle driver... more

Loud, they put us in a room with an adjoining door, and really loud drunk people woke us up very early. Then the 2 women at the front desk didn't seem to believe us about it, favored the drunks..... We asked for a regular taxi to be called, and they purposely got us an expensive limo, which they obviously get... more

We planned to stay at the Detroit airport Marriott for two nights with a friend who came up from Houston -- we live in the western part of Michigan and didn't want to chance winter weather driving. We all were so pleased with everything at the hotel---the rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable with wonderful linen and lots... more

I only gave this a four rating instead of a three because of the price I got the room for. Front desk was very helpful. My husband just got back from a long trip away so we met at the airport to spend the night before bringing him back home. He got there first and didn't bother to ask for... more

I stayed here becuase I needed a room near the airport. They have a regular airport shuttle that worked out very well. The driver was courteous and efficient. Check in went very well and they have a pub right next to the lobby if you want to grab a beer and watch some TV. I used room service since I... more
