I booked our room by hot wire, great price. we were very pleased with hotel and restaurant, excellent food. Nice people are working at hotel, trying so hard to please everyone. The valet folks were very nice and courteous, the helped us with our luggage and made our stay more enjoyable. Overall, we recommend this hotel and love to stay there... more

Love the hotel, Love the phenomenal Staff, and your GM is the most hospitable person I have met. You don't usually meet the GM at many of the hotels that you go to and I travel quite a lot. I know that this hotel is a reflection of his management. I had a blast with the hotel and the final... more

When you think the St. Regis you think luxury. Well the Detroit St. Regis is anything but! It's a budget hotel for a high end price. We arrived during Final Four weekend. My husband and I pulled into the Valet parking area with 1 other car and no other customers around needing help. It took 15 minutes to have our... more

Chose because of meetings in New Center area, was pleasantly surprised by 'quiet quality' of the place. Nice folks that tried hard to please. Heard that has new management. Worth checking out if you need to be in the New Center area or want to get a little away from downtown. more

Despite some negative feedback, the hotel was close to a conference I was attending. The service was really good. The rooms were ok too. Neighborhood is emerging and hotel could use a little sprucing up, overall a great value. more

I initialy checked the hotel website and they seem to meet my needs. I called to confirm that there would be a shuttle for the weekend of my stay, as I had meetings downtown at the Cobo Hall. The website said it and the hotel staff also assured me that was so. However, when I arrived they dropped me off... more

Spent last night at St. Regis. They have done some nice upgrading there. Our king room was very chic and clean. Everyone was very helpful and anxious to serve us. I would stay here again..to fellow Bluegreen owners..don't waste 2000 pts to stay here. I haggeled them down to $143.00 on the phone. We also had a problem with the... more

We arrived late on a Sunday night in the midst of a hot spell. The lobby was uncomfortably warm, but we were assured the rooms were air conditioned. The room (which was clean and attractive) did have an air conditioner that was emitting a very thin stream of cool air, but it was not nearly enough to cool the room.... more

I am a traveler of most hotels around the country, 20 years and I have to say that I have never experienced, such as this. Overall the hotel is a diamond in the ruff, beautiful, staff was great, Front Desk is "AWSOME"! Mrs Carol and staff is a one of a kind...! But then came Mrs. Shirley Johnson, overbearing, controling, rude, unprofessional and... more

I like the uniquesness of boutiques and was reccommended the St. Regis. This hotel was nice, comfortable, affordable and chic. No white glove service, but nice, trendy and clean. The bar has a cool vibe and everybody was friendly. It was a nice stay. more
