I stayed here because our power was out at home. I am very picky about my hotel room and this definitely was not a good choice. They moved us from our first room because there was black mold in the bathroom. Our second room had the same problem and we could not get a refund nor a credit for a... More

O.K., so maybe this area of Detroit is not what it was in its heyday. It still has a lot going for it. Be sure to read the historic plaque in the lobby. The staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We asked for downtown parking tips and the valet was more than accommodating with us and our requested in and... More

You can feel the grandness of this hotel. A bit away from the downtown core which is a bit of a plus because you don't feel so trapped by cold soulless office towers. Staff could be a bit more stringent with their particular functions but all in all adequate for lack of competition. The prices for breakfast in the hotel... More

My spouse and I stayed at the St. Regis on Saturday (23AUG14) for a concert at Comerica Park. Hotels in the area had inflated prices due to events in the city - and St. Regis was an affordable price and close to Comerica Park. From check in to check out - staff were friendly and helpful. All of the staff... More

Thank you so much for all of your kind words. I will be looking further into the internet in room 606 today! We are currently holding the second fastest internet speed in Detroit so this is not a critique we hear often. We thank you for your patronage and look forward to having you back at the Hotel St. Regis... More

I stayed here for 6 nights and really can't complain. The showers had nice water pressure, the beds were good and the service was good too. Everyone at the desk was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay again if in the area.

We stayed at the St Regis one night last week and enjoyed our time spent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and we loved having dinner and breakfast in the La Musique restaurant. My husband, who is Scottish, said that the sausage served was the closest thing to proper sausage he's had in the US. There isn't much to... More

Thank you so much for choosing the St. Regis for your visit. We appreciate the business and were happy to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. I have had the light in the elevator cleaned and apologize for missing the stain you mentioned. More

The only problem I had was that the mattresses in 2 or of 3 rooms we went into to get a better bed were terrible due to stains. I don't know if management was made aware of them because 2 of the 3 rooms had badly stained mattresses rooms stained mattresses were bad. I can't remember the room number we... More

I arrived at 2:00am from the airport to the St Regis, upon arrival, I took a shower. I can out of the shower to find vomit in the sink! There were little papers left around and hair on the bed. Disgusting! We changed rooms, the next day when we arrived to room #2 they had not cleaned it! Then the... More

For the price, it's not great. They only have valet parking which is 20 dollars more added to bill plus tip that we didn't know about. Don't bother finding a parking garage around on the weekend. There isn't any. I requested to be away from the elevator and we got put right by the elevator, which is always annoying. The... More

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. As with any downtown location, there is a parking fee since land is at a premium and we do post the fee on all of our booking sites. I'm truly sorry that you weren't aware of the cost, but it is equal to or below the cost of other downtown facilities.... More
