This hotel was surprisingly good. Checked in without a hassle and got up to my room and got settled in. It was on a weekend and was quiet. The desk clerks were friendly yet professional. Don't know why people complain about the elevator-It is NOT shaped liked a coffin. It is simply rectangular-no big deal at all. My room was... more

It was too long. The Milner is the worst and dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Rat droppings and razor blades on the bathroom floor. Need I say more? more

Booked this hotel online to attend the Auto Show. Even though l read negative reviews, thought l would risk a stay here... First Mistake! Don't confuse old and historic for quaint; rundown and sad is more accurate. Cheap cosmetic renovations trying to hide poor repairs. Weird oriented rooms, scary elevator, and rude management make this a property to avoid. Hotel... more

I stayed at the Milner during the Auto Show and it wasn't good. Definitly nothing for business travelers. It's kind of shady. My cab driver was surprised he had to drive someone wearing a suite to the Milner. "You found this over the internet, didn't you?", he asked. That's true. The low price has its reason - my room seemed... more

Stayed at the Detroit Milner on a buisness trip. The staff was very friendly, the lobby was getting a make over that looked relly nice, and the location was PERFECT! It seemed to be near everything in Detroit. It was easy to get to Greektown with the people mover being right across the street. The room was a little smaller... more

For someone who travels almost every week, I can't believe that I stayed in this dump. I found out once to Detroit that there was an international convention in town and that is why all of the hotels were either overpriced or sold out. There is a sign at the front desk that says Hotel/Apt. I think if you wanted... more

I have never in my life stayed in such a crap hole. There was not hot water from the tub. The water from the sink was rusty and got hot when I found out the hot was the cold and the cold was the hot. The place smells, is run down, and has no parking, so you need to be... more

This hotel is the best I could find. The location is great and rooms are nice. The price is unbeatable. If you do not want to spend on unnecessary luxuries this hotel is right for you. more
