The Hilton Garden Inn Detroit is a newer Garden Inn - very modern and clean. It's walking distance to some decent restaurants, which you need because the restaurant was out of service when I was there. You can't really lose with this hotel if you need to stay downtown. The HIlton Garden Inn was very nice. I didn't know it was even here. I usually stay at the Marriott but am a Hilton Honors member and was thrilled to see this hotel. The location is great I can walk virtually anywhere in the city. Staff was great with directions and very nice. more
