Stayed at the inn for an event. What a lovely inn and such pleasant staff and of course, the awesome breakfast. As a lifelong Detroiter, I have never stayed in a hotel or B&B in my city. I was really impressed and so delighted that our city is making such a comeback and this inn has stayed in business during... More

We stayed here because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. Friendly customer service personnel. We took advantage of the free shuttle service that is offered to guests on two occasions. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the Owen House. Take an overnight bag, easier to carry up the stairs than a suitcase. There are no elevators. Breakfast was... More

Lovely - a collection of several ca. 1880 private homes and carriage houses restored and now functioning as an "Inn". We stayed in the John R carriage house - so have no knowledge of rooms in other parts of the Inn. Our room was comfortably furnished with period furniture - and reasonably roomy except for the shower, which was very,... More

The Inn on Ferry Street is a very special place. In a wonderful location just steps away from the Detroit Cultural Center, the individual mansions that comprise the Inn allow regular people a step into a world that was once only experienced by the city's most elite families. Renovated homes exude the elegance of an era in which Detroit was... More

THE place to stay in Detroit!!! Inn on Ferry Street was our first stop in Detroit. The entire experience was fabulous. Our room was absolutely gorgeous (#2103). Very spacious with it's own separate living area. The high ceilings and restored woodwork left us feeling as though we were living in the 19th century. The washroom was modern and spotless. Breakfast... More

From the moment I stepped into this charming "home" I felt comfortable and welcomed. Torrance and Mike were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of delicious food! The location is perfect, I walked to DIA and around the neighborhood. Found a local bake shop and cafe. I would recommend this to anyone! A clean room. An iron and... More

Beautifully Restored Bed and Breakfast in Historical Detroit. My stay was like coming home to my childhood bedroom. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast ABSOLUTELY delicious!! Homebaked goodies set out in a "continental" breakfast style but way better than any chain breakfast I have EVER had. The muffins had REAL fruit in them. I will always choose this... More

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, warm and inviting lobby, excellent breakfast, beautiful old brick mansion, and less than 2 blocks from the Detroit Institute of the Arts. What more could you ask for?

My husband and I stayed here following our wedding at the Scarab Club. It was perfect! For those reviewers who found the decor a little outdated, I would say that it was just in keeping with the period of house. I didn't find it dowdy at all. The rooms were very comfy and the staff was very friendly and helpful.... More

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful hotel while on a weekend break in Detroit. We loved both the hotel and the city. The houses have much more atmosphere than any downtown hotel and the location, (beside the Institute of Arts) could not be better. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We asked about renting bikes and they... More
