This was the perfect Inn experience. Beautiful old buildings that I'm so pleased still exist in Detroit. The breakfast was lovely with great variety for a continental breakfast. Delicious use of local foods as well. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable, the AC worked well, and the room was quiet. I'm looking forward to my... More

This place was a wonderful find. Well located, behind the Detroit Art Institute and well placed to explore the city- I can't recommend this place enough! The friendly staff make you feel right at home;the shuttle driver was friendly and willing to take us around the city and the breakfast was excellent. A hidden gem!

It had been many years since my last visit to Detroit, and I recently spent two nights at the Inn on Ferry Street to enjoy the proximity to the museums, restaurants, and new stores in this vibrant and restored area of Detroit. Very much enjoyed the Inn ... stayed in a ground floor carriage house room. There are 4-5 historic... More

Stumbled on this gem in Detroit by accident. All the hotels in the downtown area were booked up... Inn on Ferry St had available rooms. Because of the high rating on trip advisor I gave it a shot.... So very pleased with the stay!!! Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Free parking and Shuttle Transportation within a 5-mile radius. This... More

The Inn on Ferry Street is full of charm. The rooms are spread out over a few adjacent Victorian houses, each with their own history, which is neat. My room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom with an amazing shower and nice towels. My only complaint is that the doors on the TV cabinet didn't stay... More

I was attending a conference in Novi for 5 days, but I did not want to stay at the recommended Novi hotel because I wanted to be able to explore Detroit during my down time, and I didn't want to be stuck talking shop after hours with the other attendees. On my last visit to Detroit I stayed at the... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while we attended a wedding. I typically like to stay at larger hotels and wanted to stay at the MGM but the reviews persuaded us to stay here. At first I was a bit weary as the hotel is not close to downtown. Luckily the free shuttle really was amazing! Not only... More

I spent one night during a conference - a wonderful location away from the busyness of downtown. A wonderful free shuttle will take you downtown or to your dinner reservation! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely decorated and beds were very comfortable. They offered a very filling breakfast with fresh fruit and hot items. It's a lovely... More

It has it all. The location is central to DIA, DPL, Wayne State Univ and many restaurants. The row of restored town houses sit on a peaceful tree lined street just a block away from the busier streets. The rooms are beautiully decorated with miniscule bathrooms. Free wifi, helpful free shuttle, a super delicious free breakfast and most important-comfortable beds.There... More
