I spent just one night here on a trip to Detroit and wish I could have stayed longer! The hotel is a row of renovated Victorian mansions (and carriage houses) on a quiet, tree-lined street near Wayne State University and the Detroit Institute of Art. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance and the hotel provides a free... More

We stayed here for one night on our way through Detroit. It is a great little hotel and is a haven from the streets of Detroit. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The shuttle into town is great and the driver gave us lots of tips on the way. The hotel itself is a well restored historic building... More

A number of large old houses that have been restored and opened as a B&B, although as there are several large houses each with quite a few rooms, there are plenty of guests which can lead to a crowded breakfast. Very helpful, friendly staff and nice atmosphere, almost quaint in the public areas. Rooms clean and roomy with good facilities... More

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I stayed at the Inn on Ferry Street from June 30 to July 2, 2015. We wanted to take in the Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera exhibit at the DIA. The Inn exceeded my expectations in all aspects. From the customer service oriented staff to the excellent breakfast and the gloriously renovated mansions our needs were... More

This was a unique experience. A B&B with the feel of an inn. Breakfast yummy, staff responsive, price reasonable. It felt safe and is located by some sweet museums. We plan to stay there again, perhaps in a suite!

This is a unique and lovely inn in Detroit's bustling Midtown district. We stayed in the "Pung House," a beautiful stone building with glorious windows. The combination of 100-year-old charm and modern plumbing and air-conditioning couldn't be beat. The breakfasts were lovely and everyone who works there is incredibly nice and helpful. There is a shuttle that will drive you... More

We were in town to see the Diego Rivera/Frida Kahlo exhibit at the DIA (which is only about a block away from the inn). Booked a 2nd floor suite in the Roehm house and it was gorgeous as was the Scott house where you check-in and eat breakfast. Loved the history and details of the buildings. Service was great, room... My wife and I just spent a night at the Inn on Ferry Street in Midtown in Detroit. The establishment consists of three meticulously restored historic homes and two side carriage houses on the block. There is adequate and safe parking in the backyards of the Inn. We stayed in a carriage house facing the road John R. While I... More

Underlying Detroit's great heritage are a series of wonderful early 19th century houses. While many of them are in need of some repair, there is a little one block street near the Detroit Institute of Art and Wayne State called Ferry Street. The Inn is actually a series of restored Victorian mansions and carriage houses that make up a perfect... More
