We have stayed at The Inn on Ferry Street several times. We love everything about The Inn... classy, comfortable, great location, lovely brunch. Stroll over to the Detroit Institute of Arts to complete a perfect visit.

Had an overnight visit to Detroit to attend training Found Inn on Ferry Street will searching for a place to stay close to where the training was being held. This is 3 Victorian brick homes and two carriage houses that have been converted to an inn. Room was very nice sitting area was separate area from the bedroom. Everybody was... More

This is a nice surprise, definitely unique and historic touch. We do not see many of these around. Food on site is good and families would enjoy this more because of the appearance and overall experience. Weekend rates are little steep but rooms are definitely tastefully decorated. Stuff is clean and room smelled great.

My husband and I stayed here for our 6 year wedding anniversary this past weekend. It is a beautiful historic home. We stayed in a Queen Deluxe and it was very cozy. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Perfect location to walk anywhere in midtown. The DIA is literally 5 minutes away. We had dinner at Selden Standard and... More

The Inn on Ferry Street is actually three old mansions, well-restored, on a street with other fabulous houses. It is walking distance to the Detroit Institute for Art, the historical museum, and Wayne State University. My room was large and airy, with a large screen TV and table with chairs. Service was friendly and efficient. Buffet breakfast is included with... More

This is a cute hotel. It's a good location and the staff is really friendly. If you are coming to Detroit for leisure then this place is perfect. If you are coming for business I would recommend staying somewhere else. My issues were: 1. There's no room service but they have a restaurant that the hotel shuttle will deliver from.... More

We loved this hotel. It was beautifully restored and a peaceful oasis in Detroit. The beds were incredibly comfortable, bathroom well-appointed and the breakfast was very good. We especially liked the waffle maker and the fresh berries and yoghurt. It is well located close to the Detroit Institute of Arts, on a quiet and well-kept street. Highly recommended.

I was here doing business in downtown Detroit. It is an historic Inn, which means it is 5 mansions on Ferry Street built in the late 1880. The place is updated with modern conveniences but it has period furniture. It is on the edge on Wayne State University on a low traffic street. Parking is free. Bed was extremely comfortable... My husband and I just spent the night in this beautiful Inn after enjoying the opera Frida at the Detroit Institute of Arts nearby. The several historic homes that are the Inn have been lovingly restored. We enjoyed one of the King Executive rooms in the Scott House. The nonworking fireplace and surrounding tile and mantle appeared to be original... More
