Maybe I have been spoiled by Candlewood Suites (a similar priced extended-stay hotel). Candlewoods have full kitchens, amenities, clean, comfortable surroundings, freebies galore (including dishwashers with complimentary soap and free laundry facilities). That being said, this hotel pales by comparison. True, it has a "kitchenette" (full size fridge, microwave, 2-burner rangetop), but it still feels like an Econo Lodge. First,... more

This hotel is very conveniently located near a mall, Fairlane Towne Center (which has an AMC movie theater complex), and smack in-between an A&W and a Benihana. There are a couple of other restaurants encircling the mall like Big Fish, Friday's, and Giulio & Sons, which is a fancy Italian place in the Hyatt Regency. There's also a Ritz Carlton.... more

This is a newly renovated property. During my first stay the renovations were in progress and there was a bit of chaos in the hallways, also I was working nights that week and the construction crew started in right outside my room door at 8am.
