We ended up staying at this motel because they were the only ones with vacancy the night before labor day. We ended up staying here a second night also because our ferry was delayed. We were satisfied with our stay. It was adequate. The owners pets (a cat and a dog) are friendly and charming. Restaurants and the queen IV... More

We stayed here the night before taking the ferry to Isle Royale. This is a very basic motel - no coffee, no fridge, very basic. However, it is very close to the ferry. The rooms were clean. There is no ice machine, but the owner gave us ice from his fridge. The bed was firm.

We stayed here the night before catching the ferry. It is only 2 blocks from the ferry. Nothing fancy but it was clean and quiet. It was very affordable and that is what we were looking for. There is not a lobby or a restaurant which is not a problem for us.

Stayed overnight before picking up the ferry the next morning. If you are expecting a top of the line hotel with pool, spa, gym, breakfast, you will be dissapointed. This is a 1950's style motel with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. That was all I wanted before going to Isle Royale. There was no air conditioning but you can... More

We stayed for one night. It was close to the ferry to Isle Royal. The room was very clean and the bed was firm. The bathroom was small and efficient. Internet was also nice to have since we did not have cellular service. Thank you!

I agree with most of the comments from the other reviewer (MKEcritic). I gave it 4 stars because our room was clean and comfortable and the motel well met our limited needs. Other travelers would see it differently. It all depends on what you are looking for. If all you are looking for is a clean room to stay, then... More

OK, this is their first review, so I will try to be very fair and complete. This is a small (10 room) no frills motor court motel in a small town. You may find it 'adequate' or 'a good value' but you are not going to be blown away; it is not a destination hotel in any sense of the... More
