A great place to stay when going to a concert at the DTE energy center (fka pine knob amphitheater). I was blown away by the personal service, cleanliness and VALUE offered at the Old Mill. The location on the lake is quite scenic! The driver recommended by the owner of the hotel, Len, was also top notch, friendly and reliable.... More

We just had our 4th stay at the Olde Mill Inn!! Our son and his family live nearby, so my husband and I have usually come in the winter for the Holidays. We have stayed in several of the rooms, so we now consider ourselves experts!! Our preference is a room off the lake with a Queen bed. The advantage... More

This place was clean and nicely decorated. We had no trouble sleeping, it was so quiet. We fished off the back deck, just out our back door. Smokers can't smoke in their rooms (a plus) so they smoke out back. I had to move downwind to avoid it. The office staff was accommodating. We loved this place. Excellent value for... More

What makes America great... is places like this, hotels like this, businesses like this, staff like this, service like this and the philosophy behind... At first I just wanted to stay for 2 nights... it became more than a week. First, the yard was clean and well ordered with well composed and harmonical nature colors and materials, green themes and... More

Very friendly staff.. upon my call I was asked call the following day to see if any cancellations had come in since this was a last minute decision to stay in the area for an event... called and there were cancellations to our delight! The room was very clean, compact with mini kitchen for simple cooking... need to bring your... More

Room was surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to the Dixie Highway. The walls are typically thin so if you are unlucky you will hear your neighbors, but luckily we heard our neighbors only during the day. We were excited about the possibility of doing some light cooking, but there are not pots, pans, plates etc so it is pretty hard... More

For starters, love the owner Tim... So kind and funny. Thank you. The other staff were incredibly sweet as well. We came in on a whim, stayed three nights with our two children under three years of age... It was so cute with two saddles for chairs and life jackets right outside our door for the kids to enjoy. The... More

The rooms are fine. If you are on the water side, the lovely deck is actually a smokers lounge. We had to check-out the next day (reserved the room for 5 nights) because of the smoke. So, if you are a smoker it would be a 5 star location! Be sure to ask for dishes if you have a kitchen.... More

Great place to stay! I am working in the area and stayed for 3 weeks and will return after New Years. Rooms on the water with a huge deck where you can feed the ducks. Comfortable beds, nice size rooms with microwave, fridge and stove top. Owner and staff are great, very friendly and will help with anything you need.... More
