This place was wonderful. Joan and Buck were always so welcoming and made you feel right at home. We were given the choice of which room we wanted. We chose the John Abbott room. It is in the front but at night you cannot hear any traffic. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The yogurt was amazing. I will stay here... More

I stay here occasionally on business and my wife and I finally found time to stay here together on 1/2/15. Great clean rooms with nice baths. Joan and Buck are excellent hosts. Off street parking in the back. INCREDIBLE breakfast. This is a must try, really.

I surprised my wife with a weekend getaway here in October. The inn is situated among many beautiful Victorian style homes on main street. From first meeting Joan at the door she treated us as old friends and with loving respect, She conversed and gave a tour of the entire facility. It is quite nice that the guests get "free... More

My wife and I had tickets to a concert at DTE Music Theater (aka Pine Knob) earlier this week. We have moved farther away from DTE and we decided to find a hotel or B&B that's nearby and spend the night after the concert was over with. I did some checking around and came across the Millpond Inn. We have... More

This bed and breakfast is what all places should be. Joan and Buck provide a total package of comfort. The breakfast served is all handmade by Joan from the yogurts, smoothies. pastries and did I forget da Omlets. Located in a small village off I-75 it is close to alot of entertainment. I prefer going to Rudy"s for a cold... More

The Mill Pond Inn is a spectacular experience. Joan and Buck were welcoming from the minute we arrived and gave us their full attention even though the inn was full. We felt like we were home. The breakfasts were outstanding. Everything is homemade from scratch, coffee cakes, muffins, omelets and even the yogurt! The gardens are incredible with a water fountain... The Millpond Inn is by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. Joan and Buck welcome you into their home and make you feel so comfortable. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. The homecooked breakfast was great! When we needed to leave earlier than breakfast could be served, Joan packed us a homemade breakfast to go!!... More

We were welcomed as though we were old friends! Room was spacious, clean, and comfy, and breakfast was outstanding! The only item NOT homemade was the sausage links! Even the 7-grain bread and yogurt flavored with real fruit were homemade! I had a 3-egg ham n cheese omelette, and hubby's was a 2-egg ham, cheese, and spinach omelette. We also... More

My husband and I stayed at the Millpond B&B twice. Once for my birthday (we rented all 5 rooms for our friends and they were all very happy to learn every bedroom has a private bathroom), and once last night because our power went out due to an ice storm. It was such a relief to be welcomed to this... More
