Hotel appeared new on the outside. Clean. However it was infested with yellow jackets. The lamposts were swarming and all of the windows had nests in the corners. This is a very nice hotel. Good price. It is right off the freeway and perfect if you just want to get out of town for the night. The rooms are very clean and the front desk clerks were really, really nice. They must have sound proof walls because we did not hear anybody --any time we have stayed here.... more

This hotel is probably the only choice for a clean and relatively new (6 years old or so) motel in this extremely rural area in the center of lower peninsula Michigan. This might be the best Days Inn I have ever stayed in. Extremely clean & comfortable. Each bed had 4 pillows, which is highly unusual for a days inn. I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying in central Michigan. Breakfast was also great. more
