Planning on just driving up the coast to find a hotel. Had no plan but some time to investigate this area. Had tried other better know locations but this one was great since it is not so commercial! Room was more like a condo with great view

I have been to this facility multiple times. It is clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The suites are a good size with fire places and well equipped kitchens. Overlooking the harbor, this is a perfect place to stay in Charlevoix. In addition, the staff is wonderful!

My travels of the States take me to a variety of places and I must say Charlevoix is in my top 5. I always stay at the Edgewater Inn and love it every time. I have been there so often I have my favorite rooms that I request each time. The front desk staff is always friendly and courteous. Craig... More

Have stayed at the Edgewater Inn multiple times on business and pleasure. Its sad to see some of the negative comments. Each of the units at the Edgewater Inn are different. The hotel is a Condominium hotel whereas, each of the rooms are owned by different individuals. Each are decorated differently. No matter how updated each unit is (almost all... More

It disappoints me to see some of the negative reviews on their room being dated. Anyone who has taken the time to write a review should have taken the time to read some of the reviews on this topic. In particular, my previous post. All of the rooms have different owners and they are decorated differently. Just ask questions when... More

We have bee coming to the Inn for a number of years now. I have posted a review with an exceptional rating earlier as a TripAdvisor regular. This was a major disappointment and of all times, our very special celebration. Our needs were known; reiterated and the trip time extended this year for our anniversary. Well the room was awful!... I loved the view. But the room was dated and our room was not ready, the fridge was open, with water all over. the breaker for the kitchenette was off. We put the sign out for house keeping and by the time they got there it was already 3:30, So we just said forget it... But the view It was... More

Great value for a one bedroom condo overlooking the water and close to town. Our condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable King bed with feather pillows. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio.

Truly the worst experience ever. This overpriced hotel/condo rip-off was like living in a cave in your grandmother's basement. It was old, dark, and crowded with thrift shop furniture that was too big. There was one window, a sliding door, onto the balcony, but the vertical blinds were nearly impossible to draw and when attempted they would fall out of... More

We have stayed here several times but this time we stayed in room #348 which was not renovated since it was built in the 1980's! Very outdated. The single bedroom air conditioning unit was non-functional. The gas fireplace didn't work and we were given a log in paper to burn in it! The view is outstanding. The queen bed in... More
