As wedding guests to this distant destination, our group had the whole place for the weekend. The staff was very helpful and served us all well for the different parties in the social room, quietly seeing that needs were met and cleanup was done. The breakfast room has nice views and the sun streaming in, and overlooks the indoor pool.... more

I Stayed at Pointes North Inn over the weekend for the first (and wont be last) time and found my room very pleasant. The staff was very nice and friendly. loved the screened in patio, just wasn't a very nice weekend...rain...rain...rain. I will be back next year. more

I travel extensively in Northern Michigan for business and I like to stay in new hotels whenever possible. I loved the total interior remodelling, the granite countertops with full kitchen and wet-bar. I also enjoyed the large HDTV's in flatscreen. Stayed at Points North Inn for our 10 year anniversary and will be going back the next time we visit the Charlevoix area. Felt like we were at home the entire vacation. Great staff and great location. Highly recommended. more

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and it was immaculate, very cozy at home feeling. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasurable, not only by the neat and clean room, but the jacuzzi tub was fabulous!!!! The website for the Pointes North Inn is wonderful. It gives the impression that the hotel is right on the channel in Charlevoix with wonderful views and great amenities. When we booked our room, I was told we were going to have a full kitchen and a view of the water. Upon arriving (before we even went inside the lobby)... more

We booked this hotel for three days. The hotel was nearly emply but we were given a wierdly configured room on the first floor next to the sidewalk. The front window blinds were damaged so they couldn't be closed. The clerk said that our room was the only one that hadn't been remodeled. After putting up with this for one... more

All of our rooms are conominium suites. The layout of the room is similar to a small apartment. Unfortunately, we did have one room on property that has not been completely udated yet, but we are currently in the process of doing so. As far as being unable to contact management I was actually the front desk staff that day...

We flew into Charlevoix without a reservation and were able to get a room at Pointes North when we found out that the Weathervane was full. We were offered 2 rooms at PN and they both smelled very smoky. My daughters hated the smell but when I asked for air freshener, the clerk offered us an upgraded room instead. The... more
