Extremely well run. Very clean and comfortable. Many convenient fast food close, (BK,Mc D). Pizza Hut, Flap Jacks etc. Fifteen minute walk to downtown. Very nice owners. We have stayed there for over ten years.

We stay at the Maple Leaf every summer. It is clean, quiet and in a great location just outside of downtown. We like that because it is quieter than being right in the hubub. While not lavish, the rooms have all you need for a good nights sleep. The grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers. It is apparent Cindy... More

We stay here every summer and Cindy is always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and quiet. It's not right in downtown but close enough to walk to downtown or to Irish Boat Works on Lake Charlevoix. The free wifi is great. We always look forward to our stay.

Don't bother with this place. Booked a room for a wedding and was called 4 days before the wedding and was told "There was an error in your booking, we don't have a room for you." Um.....what?! The owner was the one who made my reservation! Never once did she say "I messed up and I'm really sorry!" What a... More

The owner was extremely friendly helpful, and her personal touches were very much appreciated . Homemade cookies and coffee in the office was delicious and talking to the owner was very pleasant, informative and we shared many stories.

This cute little motel is only open through out the summer months. Reservations can't be made until April 1st, so I was sure to mark my calander and call for my July reservation as it fills up quickly. When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly smile and fresh baked cookies. Our room was pretty basic, but very clean... More

My husband and I spent two nights at the Maple Leaf and were pleasantly surprised. Given the very reasonable rate, we had not expected more fluffy white bath towels than we could use and a multitude if pillows. Neat and clean only begins to describe the spotless room and bathroom, carefully groomed grounds overflowing with brilliant flowers and neatly trimmed... More

We have stayed at the Maple Leaf in Charlevoix at least one night a year for the last 15 years. We have always had a great experience. It is always clean, owners are friendly, and our two dogs love the big area out back for walking. The flowers are beautiful, the room is simple, yet sufficient, and the rates are... More

We recently had a christian conference and many of the men on our week-end needed an affordable hotel to lay their head. The hotel room was extremely clean, bathroom the same. In wall heater/air conditioner and sink/vanity in the room separate from the bath - which I liked. The bed was comfy and the television has many channels. Wifi free-... More

This is a very simple motel, but the rates are moderate for the area, the rooms are clean and the owners couldn't be nicer. It is convenient to some restaurants within walking distance and you can even walk downtown if you don't mind a 10 minute walk.
