We stayed at Belle Vista's Inn, Hersel's on the Bay Sunset Bay Resort for 3 nights. The room was real nice, clean and the staff was real accomidating. Very delitefull staff, the view was gorgeous and we plan to come back. We enjoyed talking to Hersel when we checked out, he told us about some of the emprovements he was... More

This place truly does have one of the nicest private beaches on Lake Huron. It is clean, well maintained, and the water on the lake is crystal clear. The pools are also very nice. The motel itself is old, but nice for the price, besides a majority of my family's time here was spent outside as the weather in Michigan... More

When you pay $94.00 for a room for one night, you expect something reasonably nice. Room had no appeal to it at all, no amenities, air conditioner was mounted in a window with something draped over the top part of the window. Not clean (cigarette on floor under the bed), supposed to be non-smoking room. Mattresses felt like you were... More

We just got back after spending three nights in Caseville at the Bella Vista. And spoiler alert, it was much nicer than most of the reviews I’ve seen about this property. Our room was room number 17 on the Sunset Bay resort side. We had a lakeside view and two beds that were comfortable. The room was clean, no smell,... More

Staying at the Bella Vista Caseville was certainly better then I thought it would be....it sure beats tent camping. It had air conditioning and a decent hot shower with indoor plumbing....I'd stay there again if I needed too

It's okay to have an older property but it must keep it clean! This hotel is poorly maintained, haphazardly renovated, and DIRTY. The carpet is not clean or vacuumed regularly, bed linens are disgusting, water pressure extremely low, the sink drains very slow, and the mattress should have been replaced years ago. Our room had a musty smell and the... More

Many families booked rooms for an event held at the resort in July '15 or we might have checked out after seeing the room. Mold in some rooms, mold in showers and on shower curtain, bedding was gross/stained, spiderwebs/dust, and the stench from the water made it almost unbearable to be in the rooms. Most of the showers had little,... More

We stay at this hotel 2-3 times per year. They are making improvements. The rooms could use some updating, however you dont spend all that much time in them. One of the nicest shorelines in Michigan! Sandy beach and beautiful sunsets. Quiet and peaceful stay

This was our second year coming to Bella vista inn. We were excited to be back.. But this time seemed different. The management was borderline rude most of the time..making snark comments, being unfriendly and very unattentive. Is was far from being booked to capacity so the lack of service was surprising. We sat inside by the bar for 10... More

So I have stayed here a number of times and have actually reviewed it before. But this stuff just needs to be told because it is too funny. Caseville is known for a few festivals; cheeseburger and it's winter counterpart, shanty days. This was my first winter festival trip and boy was it an adventure. My friend and I rolled... More
