We have stayed here for years, on average 3 times a year. Every season gives you different scenery. We LOVE the staff, We always call direct for reservations and have never been disappointed. We already have reservations for winter carnival in February and are looking foreward to the snow. more

This is a great place to relax during the off season. I haven't stayed here during the height of the winter sports season (snowmobiling and skiing). more

Trip with wife & 2 kids (9&14). Got a "normal" room. Bathroom is very small, beds are very firm, room has no microwave. Did not hear outside noise, but doors in hotel are very noisy. Breakfast is standard fare, but breakfast area is way too small. If you are going to Copper Harbor, location is great. There is a huge... more

The AmericInn is in the middle of the Keweenaw National Historic Park. There is lots to visit with numerous copper mining sites and buildings to see. In addition, the Keweenaw Peninsula has spectacular views of Lake Superior. Our room was clean and the wi-fi was fast and reliable. Breakfast seems to be the same each day with fresh waffles, hard... more

I stayed at this hotel while visiting my son at MTU in Hancock, MI. The hotel decor is Copper Country themed, with lots of pictures and exhibits on the walls of the history of the region. The hotel also features a lot of wood in the decor - perfect for the area! Breakfast is good and internet access is great.... more

We like the Americinn chain. They are usually pretty quiet. This one was pretty noisy, but I think it was more the fault of the guests than anything else. A little dated, but clean. Staff is friendly. I think its a little pricey for the area, but all the hotels in the U.P. are. more

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean except for a few hairs in the tub. Good breakfast buffet. AmericInn boasts their construction technique ensures quiet rooms. True, we did not hear any noise from outside but then Calumet, MI doesn't have much of a roaring nightlife or traffic. Unfortunately we did hear children racing up and down the... more

We have stayed at Americinn numerous times since 1999. The staff has always been great, especially Sandy (front desk). We personally book through her so there is never a chance for a problem. Looking forward to seeing the U.P. and Sandy again soon. more

We had a great 4 night stay. The breakfast each morning was very fulling and good. the beds were a little hard, from what we are use to but the rooms were clean. Pool was a little cold to our taste but was enjoyable to use. The hot tub was in working order on Friday night, but we did not... more
