I love the Oak Street Inn! We just stayed there with a bunch of friends last week that were up from out of town for a few days! It was beautiful! Very clean and comfortable! The owners were very kind and super nice!! Beautiful building and had a great experience! Would definetly recommend to everyone!

My son and I stayed at Oak Street In last January for a ski trip. It's a pretty easy drive up to Mt. Bohemia from here, and Calumet provides you civilization with a choice of restaurants, grocieries, and a small department store all in close proximity. We were delighted with the amount of space of the upstairs unit that we rented.... More

We recently spent two nights here for a visit to Calumet where our ancestors lived and worked after coming to America. This Inn is part of original Calumet, and is an antique afficionado's dream. Just being in the building gives you a great feeling, considering all the history that happened there, and the difficult lives of the immigrant copper miners.... More

This is a great place to stay, the building is historic and the upstairs unit is really cute. The unit has 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen! They have a HUGE indoor hot tub in the common area and a pool table. The place was super clean too! The location is about 20-30 min away from the BEST... More

We stayed at the Oak Street Inn during the annual CopperDog 150 dog sled race. The Inn was the perfect place to stay. With three big bedrooms (2 queens in 2 rooms and 1 queen in the third room) and two bathrooms, there was plenty of room for the family plus a couple of friends). The living area, kitchen and... We have been staying at the Oak Street Inn for the last several years and love the owners, location and cleanliness of our suite!. Jim is always adding yearly improvements and we appreciate the community room with pool table, large screen TV, music, and of course the hot tub the size of a small pool. If you need a place... My wife and I have been planning a trip with friends up to Copper Country for the past 5 years. We found this place 4 years ago and return every winter. The owner works hard every year to make improvements to the building. This year it looked like he added a pool table, flat screen tv, and stereo to the... More

Calumet in the winter is a snowy white place. Even in Early December the snow was piled up really high. You might not notice the Oak Street Inn, it looks a bit like any of the other brick buildings, maybe it's a hardware store . . . That said, once you get inside there are two extremely homey apartments with... More

I stayed here with friends when skiing/snowmobiling at Mt. Bohemia last winter. The inn is divided into suites (we stayed in the copper suite) which have 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a dining and living area. This was perfect for our group size and we never felt over crowded. There were board games in the closet which... More

Went to visit son at Michigan Tech and was looking for more than just a hotel room. Oak Street Inn was recommended by friends that stayed here in the summer. What a nice surprise. Our accommodations included large bedrooms along with two sitting rooms and a well stocked kitchen, which was a plus because our son requested home cooked meals... More
