My husband and I just wanted a one night getaway close to home and a chance to explore the local wineries on the Pioneer Wine Trail in Southeast MI (a great day trip by the way!). This spot did the trick. The innkeeper was very friendly and the neighborhood was quiet. The B & B house itself could have used some work inside and out but we stayed in a small house behind the actual B & B called the Bungalow. The Bungalow houses 2 private and very quiet and remodeled rooms (we never even heard the other guests) with a heart shaped full jacuzzi and queen bed. It was a perfectly romantic evening. The innkeeper brought us breakfast on a tray the next morning which made it even cozier. Breakfast was lacking in finesse but again our experience was pleasant and exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend this spot to travelers who like the quaint aspect of a B& B but who prefer to be a little more aloof and less social. The Bunglaow would also be great for 2 couples looking... more
