For the hotwire price nice hotel. Needs restaurant and a bar because the surrounding area lacks much. The rooms are nice but basic the staff is very helpful. The atrium and pool area are nice and there are plenty of safe parking spots. If looking for a room to just getaway and be off the beaten path then this a... More

The Kingsley Inn used to be a very nice property many years ago. Sadly, things are terrible today. I had to switch rooms three times and the third room still had problems. The first room overlooked the roof-top HVAC system and the noise was loud. The second room's heating couldn't be turned off, one phone didn't work, and the chair... More

My room is good and the bed quite comfortable, which is important. However, no bar or restaurant open in the evening even within walking distance. Very disappointing to have to leave in crappy weather to get a bite to eat and no opportunity to sit and have a cocktail with my colleague without having to drive back to the hotel... More

This used to be a Radisson but went independent (i.e. not affiliated with a chain). Usually, that's a very bad sign when a hotel does that. However, this hotel has been maintained in the same state since the last time I stayed here a few years ago. This is a strangely located hotel that has a really weird look from... More

Got the room at a good rate through Trip Advisor. Was a single king. Outside of building looks a little dated, but.. where else can you pay under $100, on a weekend, for a room on a good side of Detroit and pull in to the parking lot to see a Bentley parked there... Plus a Mercedes, BMW, and 3... More

I booked through Priceline. Booked the King Executive room for me and my girlfriend. Bed was very old and uncomfortable. The whole place looked run down, VERY overdue for renovations but I doubt that's ever going to happen. Listed as 3.5 stars, I'd give it 2. Said it came with bath robes. None in the room, and they actually said... More

Booking was a breeze. Family of four and booked an Exec Suite. Asked for a roll away as well and was waiting in our room. 1.5 baths and really helps. Beds are great! Best of all? The service. Friendly and helpful. Really makes a difference. Wife and I hit the workout room. A few treadmills and ellipticals; bike; and dome... More

The snow kept falling, and it kept asking if I could turn the heat up. Switched rooms, but to no avail. It's a vintage place without the old school charm. The staff was nice enough, and there's nothing particularly bad about the place, but it sure would be nice to have an upscale option in Bloomfield Hills.

I'm sorry there were issues with the temperature in your room. We normally never have issues with heat and I apologize for the inconvenience it causes you. We are working with ownership on a complete remodel of the facility and expect to be able to fulfill your request for an upscale facility in Bloomfield Hills shortly. More
