When calling to book our stay, the employee did not understand or speak fluent English, making the process difficult. After spelling our street name three times, it was still wrong. However, the hotel itself was not bad. Bathroom was a tad dirty, hair and dust build up in corners. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was great. TV was old and had... more

My wife and our 11 yr. old girls stayed here between family parties. it was a nice stay right at the Birch Run exit off of I-75. Their rate was very competitive with the other hotels in the area. The front desk service was very considerate. They let us check in early and had some good tips for Priority club... more

This hotel is terrible. Their customer service is dry and uncaring, and even worse if you actually present a problem with your stay. The rooms are very run down and old. And their rates compared to other hotels at the same exit on I75 are very unreasonable. The Hampton Inn behind it is much nicer, and usually cheaper, as well... more

Didn't end up staying at this location, so can't rate it direclty. Did call the hotel directly to see about either canceling the reservation or moving it to another Holiday Inn property north of Birch Run (weather moving in). Desk clerk couldn't help since we made and got the "internet rate" and pre-paid; and the Holiday Inn "guest services" at... more

My husband and I spent two nights at the Holiday Inn Express for a break without kids. After reading some of the reviews on Tripadvisor, I was a bit hesitant to book here, but the hot breakfast sounded good so we decided to give it a try. Our check-in was quick and painless. Front desk staff was very friendly and... more

Our room was ready before 4pm so we were able to unpacked then go shopping. Our room was bright and clean. The room had a fridge and microwave which was very convenient. The bathroom had a overhead heat light which we all used. The breakfast was quite good, and we were allowed to take our meal to our room. The... more

The hotel was dirty, the manager & staff was flat out ignorant. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. As an elite priority club member, I called to the Holiday Inn Customer Service desk and was told that each hotel is independently owned & operated. As a result, they can only refer me back to the hotel manager. Management and... more

My fiance and I had been having a horrible weekend up north, so we decided to leave and stay in Frankenmuth, but both the Bavarian Inn and Zhenders Splash Village, were booked. We decided to stay at the Holiday-Inn, which is right off the freeway. The price was a bit steep, but since we wanted to make up for our... more

I visit the birch run /Frankenmuth area 2 to 3 times a year....This was my first time staying at the Holiday Inn express and it’s also my LAST time…The tub was dirty. The food was adequate but I’ve had better food at cheaper motels….I paid $160.18 to listen to children and teenagers running the halls yelling and screaming until midnight... more

Overall a very clean property with very friendly and courteous staff. Rooms were pretty standard; nothing too exciting to write about. Pros: Great location close to Birch Run outlet mall and Frankenmuth area. Free breakfast in the morning Pool/hot tub Cons: The only major fault is that if you're looking for a good night's sleep, forget about it. You can... more
