We did not stay here, but we had dinner at the restaurant -- which is just about the only place in Big Bay, or within 20 miles of there. The dining room is attractive, with hardwood floors -- and the feeling that you experience here is one of a family-style restaurant. Menu is not too extensive, but we both found something that we liked, and it was satisfying. Glad they were there in this remote location. I believe this place was once owned by Henry Ford, as well as a sizable tract of land adjacent to the town.
We went to Big Bay to see and stay at the Big Bay Point Lighthouse, which was a wonderful experience. Would certainly recommend it -- see separate evaluation.
