This place was a big disappointment. "Scenic" and "resort" - what a joke. For scenic, the choices are a room overlooking the highway, or as we opted, a first floor back side room overlooking a parking lot, complete with a view of the dumpster and a mercury vapor lamp. My Wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in May. The hotel itself is about 1 mile outside the town of Beulah on the main US31. The staff were welcoming and the room we had was modern and very clean. There is an excellent indoor pool and an outdoor spa pool. Also the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus.... more
Great Stay! Very Clean - Friendly Staff. Loved the full hot breakfast on the house. The Spa was WONDERFUL! Can't wait to go back! more
This was good hotel to stay at to use as a base for visiting the area. Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Haven, Pierce Stocking Scenice Drive, etc are all easily reached from here. The continental breakfast was above average. Room was very clean and well maintained--a very new feel to everything. But I wouldn't call it a resort--had a nice indoor... more
