I don't think words can sufficiently tell a reader what a wonderful B&B Black River is but I'll do the very best I can.

I'll start with the fact that Stan and Sue Carr are absolutely amazing people. They are a wonderful couple who have built Nirvana in the UP, decorated it perfectly, landscaped it to knock your socks off and to top it all off they prepare a killer and healthy breakfast.

The B&B itself is beautiful inside and out. With it's three guest rooms (which, by the way, are amazing in all the details and comfort) it is the perfect size for a family get away, family reunion, holiday gathering, or just some well deserved R&R.

The Sauna was the highlight of the trip for me though. Stan had it heated up every night and we all chatted while rotating through the heat, cold shower, sit outside, heat, cold shower, . . . While sitting outside to cool off it was unbelievable to see the starts so clearly and watch the shooting stars and... more
